I had never heard such a panty-dropping voice before; it was so rich and sensual. My heart pounded, threatening to burst from my chest.

The sunlight lazily shone through the branches that laced the forest canopy. My eyes scanned the shadows, searching for the source of the voice. Where was he? Who was he?

“But they are intruders.” The man I was assuming was Ericson grumbled.

“I said to stand down,” the voice came out of a patch of shady trees. He didn’t step out of the shadow, but a beam of light peaked through the leaves and highlighted one eye. It was a piercing, honey-toned pool. Yeah, I would like to dive into that pool and stay forever.
