Once Upon A Luna

Once upon a time, there was a wolf who thought she was nothing special.  However, a lucid nightmare would change everything she knew a couple of days before her eighteenth birthday.

This nightmare was not just a dream but a premonition of the destruction of her pack.  The night of her eighteenth birthday was supposed to be a joyous occasion filled with opportunity. Instead, the night was filled with fire and carnage.

Her Alpha, Beta, and pack members were struck down in their prime.  The remainder of the pack members and her became rogues.

A blessing came from this tragedy, though.  The following day another Alpha came to absorb the survivors into his pack.  That Alpha was the wolf's mate.

Before our wolf met her mate, she was whisked away into the ethereal realm, where she met the moon goddess, Selene.  During that encounter, our wolf learned that she was special.

After a few hours, the survivors agreed to join the Alpha's pack.  The new pack had a darker history than our wolf could have ever imagined.  She struggled to emotionally comprehend their past.

After another trip to the ethereal realm, our wolf learned that she was a blessed wolf with two gifts.  Her first gift was premonitions, but she was not able to figure out her second gift.

After being officially initiated into the pack, she learned that her mate's mother was also a blessed wolf.  Her mate's mother was stolen away and kept as a prize.  Similarities began to emerge between her mate's mother's story and our blessed wolf's story.

She, too, became the Luna of the pack.  However, something wasn't quite right.

Once our wolf knew she was in trouble, two friends went to ease the Alpha's concerns, but they were kidnapped by someone who wanted our blessed wolf for their own.  One of our blessed wolf's friends was mutilated, but eventually, she escaped.

The search for her other friend became more frantic.  When our wolf's mate went to go to the kidnapping scene, tragedy fell as our wolf was betrayed by one of her own and kidnapped herself.

A previous premonition that our blessed wolf had was able to lead her mate and pack to her captors.  During her time in captivity, she found allies in unlikely places.

Once our wolf's pack came to rescue her, our wolf ended up having a fight to the death with a witch to protect her pack.  Our wolf almost died, but she survived because of a joint effort between a new ally and her mate.

Her pack did their best to extinguish the rogues who had kidnapped their Luna and pack members, but a few of the rogues managed to escape.

Death, betrayal, fire, and blood paved her path.  Through trials and tribulations, our blessed wolf grew into her own.

Her new allies were able to join her pack, and they all lived happily ever after.
