"I hope you know you're no match for Killian. That he'd never see you no matter the efforts you put in to get his attention." It's no other person than Rein who has been gulping down several glasses of wine since she came to my side. "No matter what you do, Killian will never see you." She slurs. It's obvious she's drunk because she's had more than a few glasses of wine.

"You don't have to worry yourself too much after stating that I'm no match for him, there's no point to be threatened. But not to worry, today will be the last day you, Killian, and everyone here will see me." I say with a small smile, meaning every word because after what just happened a few minutes ago, I figured they don't need me in their space.

Wrapping her arm around my shoulder as though we're besties, Rein twirls me to face the sea.

"Well then, my hatred will reduce if you keep to your word because Killian is all mine." She circles her free hand in the air for emphasis, then staggers away with her fr
