CHAPTER 38.Eva's POV. I struggled to escape as far as I could. I was limping at first but slowly I felt my wounds healing. I refused to look back as I kept running deeper and deeper into the forest. I looked around the forest and I had no idea where I was. It was an unfamiliar area and it confused me greatly because the trees were of the same height and there was hardly any difference in the areas as I ran. Where I was running to that I couldn't tell but I had to run away from them, all of them. CHAPTER 39.Eva's POV. All my efforts of escaping had all been in vain. The running and almost drowning strategy were all futile because I still got caught. I got captured again and a worse punishment awaited me, a punishment that might kill me. I was swinging side to side on the shoulder of one of his men. I had been injected with another substance but this one didn't seem as effective as the last one. My hands were tied to each other and my legs too.
