Yvo sat with his head bowed over his desk, one arm folded beneath him, the other resting loosely at his side. To anyone passing by, he looked asleep, worn down by the long school day. His hair fell forward, hiding his eyes, and his stillness discouraged attention.

But he was wide awake.

His eyes remained closed while his hearing sharpened to the quiet conversation unfolding across the room. He did not move. He did not lift his head. He simply listened.

Near the window, Darren and Lareina stood

Nearly thirty minutes later, Sean finally arrived home.He slipped off his shoes as he stepped inside."I'm home."His mother peeked out from the kitchen."Welcome back.""Sorry I'm late.""It's alright."She smiled before adding casually,"Oh, Yvo's waiting in your room."Sean paused."...When did he get here?""A little while ago.""He said the two of you already talked."Sean stared for a moment before letting out a quiet breath."...Of course he did."Without another word, he headed upstairs. He pushed open his bedroom door.Click.Yvo was sprawled comfortably across Sean's bed, one leg hanging over the edge, completely absorbed in a game on his phone. His fingers tapped the screen at an alarming speed.Sean folded his arms."...I thought your head injury was bothering you."Yvo didn't even look up."It was.""But you still have the energy to play games?""...It feels better now."Sean wasn't convinced."And why are you here?"His gaze swept across the room before settling back on

The dining room was modest.A square wooden table sat in the center, already filled with freshly prepared dishes.Levi placed the last bowl down before taking his seat."I hope you don't mind home-cooked food."Sean shook his head."Not at all.""I wasn't expecting a guest today, so everything's simple.""It already looks like more than enough.""I'm glad."Leo quietly took the remaining chair. For the first few minutes, the three of them simply ate.The silence wasn't awkward.Sean simply wasn't someone who talked much with people he had just met.Levi didn't seem bothered by it.Instead, he patiently waited until Sean had finished his first serving before speaking."My brother told me you're in Arts and Design."Sean nodded."Yeah.""You enjoy painting?""I do."Levi smiled."I've always admired people who can create something from nothing."Sean looked slightly embarrassed."I still have a lot to improve.""I suppose artists never stop saying that."Sean let out a small laugh."...

“...Bro?”The word escaped Leo before he could stop it.He froze on the front porch, his hand still resting on the gate as his mind struggled to catch up with what he was seeing.No.That couldn't be right.Levi wasn't supposed to be home for another four months.Leo knew because he had counted the days. His brother's return had always been scheduled around his treatment. Their weekly calls were planned. Every visit required approval. Levi never came home without telling him first.Yet there he was.Standing just inside the open front door as though he'd been waiting for them. The afternoon sun framed him from behind, and for a fleeting moment, Leo felt as if he'd gone back several years."What... are you doing here?"Levi smiled. The same gentle smile. The same calm voice."I came home."He stepped forward and pulled Leo into a brief embrace."I missed my little brother."Leo stood stiffly before awkwardly returning it."...You didn't tell me.""I wanted it to be a surprise.""It defi

The rest of the afternoon passed slowly. For Sean, the day felt longer than usual, as if time itself had stretched out without reason. Perhaps it was because of everything that had happened recently—the stalker, Yvo’s suspicions, and the strange tension that had settled between him and Yvo after that accidental kiss.Whatever the reason, by the time the final bell rang for the third-year students, Sean was more than ready to leave.Around him, his classmates immediately began packing their things. Some discussed dinner plans, while others complained about assignments.Sean ignored all of them.He shoved his notebook into his bag and stood.“Leaving already?” Johnny asked from the next desk.Sean glanced at him.“When have I ever stayed after class?”Johnny laughed.“Fair point.”Sean gave a lazy wave before heading out of the classroom. The hallways were noticeably quieter than usual. Freshman classes were still ongoing, and most of the students wandering around campus were upperclassm

In the washroom. It was quiet.Too Silent.Only the faint dripping of water from one of the sinks echoed softly against the tiled walls. As Yvo pushed the door open, he paused almost immediately.A voice carried from inside one of the far corners near the sinks.“…Hyung, can you just stop already?”Yvo’s gaze shifted subtly.Leo stood near the mirror with his back partially turned, phone pressed tightly against his ear. He had not noticed Yvo enter yet.“I already checked on him,” Leo said in a lowered voice.A pause followed. Then he exhaled heavily, dragging a hand through his hair in frustration.“I know what you asked me to do.”Yvo remained near the entrance, silent.Leo continued speaking, quieter this time.“I delivered everything already.”A longer silence answered from the other end. Then Leo’s shoulders tensed visibly.“But this is getting out of hand.”Something about the tone made Yvo still completely. Not irritation.Curiousity.“I don’t want to keep doing this anymore.”

The room remained quiet long after Yvo disappeared into the bathroom.Sean stayed seated at the edge of the bed, unmoving, though his thoughts were anything but calm. The room suddenly felt smaller. His fingers curled against the mattress as his mind replayed the moment repeatedly against his will. That brief contact. That warmth. That unbearable stillness.Sean’s jaw tightened.“…Ridiculous.”He dragged a hand down his face and exhaled sharply, as though he could physically force the memory out of his head. But it lingered stubbornly, irritating him more than anything else.It should not matter. It did not matter. It was an accident.I’m straight. I like Lareina. From the bathroom, the soft sound of running water echoed faintly, grounding him back to reality.Sean stood abruptly and walked toward the closet, pulling out a clean set of clothes with movements that looked stiffer than usual.“I need air,” he muttered under his breath. Before leaving the room, he spoke toward the bathroo
