Chapter 17 Breaking Boundaries

"Katie, come! Let's drink some." My friend from Canada who just came here in the Philippines offered me a glass of tequila.

"Oh I'm sorry Gelli but I'm still not drinking liquor, that was bad for the health." I said and she laughed. What was funny in what I actually say? Is it bad to care for my health? For our health?

"Katie, you are too childish. Here. Try it." She gave me that already so I don't have a choice. They might said that I'm a Kill Joy person.

"Why does it tastes like this? It's hot! It doesn't taste well!" I said and she gave me a lemon.

"It's Tequila, and this one is Black Label." Gelli said.

"Why does many people like liquor even if it doesn't taste so well?" I asked her and she laughed, until a man came at me.

"Katie." That was a familiar voice.

"Why are here? Are you stalking me? Don't stalk me anymore! I am not interested on you." I shout and everyone on the party screams.

"Just find another women Nickanor." The other guy said.

"Quiet my friends, let's go Katie. I'm taking you out of here." He said but I refused to come.

"Why!? Why are you taking me out! I want to stay here! You! If you want to go home! Then go home!" I souted.

"Katie, you won't understand me." He said.

"Yes, I will never understand you so go! Leave!" He deeply sighed before going out of the place.

"Who is that man? A boyfriend? You have lovers quarrel?" Why are all of them think that Nicko and I are in a relationship? It's kinda yuck!

"I don't even know that man. And he is not my type, I like someone else. Not him." I said.

"Yeah we know that, it's Enrique Lacap right? The singer." My friend said and I smiled.

"Yes, he is the man that I like but eventualy he is making me jealous. That is the main reason why I am here in the party with all of you." I point my fingers anywhere and ran into the dancefloor. I danced. Seems like my problems are thrown away at this moment.

"I love you but why are you hurting my feelings?" I screamed.

"Katie." My friend called but I don't want anyone to disturb me. I'm having a fun night!

"What did you see? Is it Enrique with someone else?" My friend asked.

"Yes. Enrique with the great Alexandria Sayson! Am I not enough?" I raised my voice.

"So you are jealous? Why are you jealous? Are you and Enrique in a relationship?" She asked.

"We are not in a relationship but I like him enough for us to be in a relationship. And after all, Enrique confessed that he have feelings for me!" I proudly said.

"He just confessed sweet heart. You don't have an assurance that he have plans in marrying you in the future." She calmly said.

"But he already made a promise to my family. And he's always saying that she'll never kiss me until we get married but we already have a kiss at the hotel, the night before the play." I said.

"That means he is going to marry me, he's going to marry me." I jump all over again on the dance floor until a I smell a manly scent on my back.

"Katie. What's this? Let's go home please." He said and hugged me from my back.

"Let's go home Babe. I don't wanna lose you. I am sorry." He said and I faced him.

"I'm sorry." He said when our eyes met.

"Let's go home okay?" He said and he gave his hands on my and I take it.

"Don't be sad Katie." He said while driving, he's holding my left hand.

"We're here." I finally looked the room number and noticed that it was mine. When he was about to put me on the bed because I can't even walk. I pulled him.

"I want you." I said and tried to kiss him but he didn't take that kiss.

"No, you don't. You are just drunk Katie." He said and I pulled him again.

"Maybe I am drunk Quen but I know what I am doing." I said.

"Katie. Just sleep okay. It's not you. It is the alcohol that was on your system." He said and get out of my room.

I just woke up when my alarm clock rang. I stand up and I felt that my head is aching. I don't remember what I did last night. But I know that this room is mine. But the question is, who brought me here?

I get into the C.R and get my mouthwash. I smell that there is an alcohol on my mouth. Did I just drink last night?

"Oh! Good you are awake. Good morning." A familiar man get inside of my condo.

"Here is your breakfast, I brought it here because I thought maybe you still couldn't stand up." He said and put the tray on my small table.

"Enrique, whay did I do last night? Did I do something horrible? Something that you are not comfortable?" I asked.

"Nothing, but you attempted to kiss me. But nothing happened Katie. I swear." He said and I immediately nod.

"Okay, I believe you." I said and get my breakfast.

"Enrique, where is my puppy?" I asked when I didn't see Kiko playing inside my room.

"He is outside." Enrique answered cassualy.

"By the was Quen, I'm going out with my friends again this night." I said and smiled, I feel that he came beside me.

"Don't go out again if I am not with you, you might be in danger since you still don't know some streets in the Philippines." He said.

"My friends know it already." I said.

"Really? They came from Canada too right? How did they know about the streets here?" He asked.

"G****e Search." I said.

"Katie, please, don't be hard headed." He said ang hold the right part of my cheek.

"I am not hard headed." I pleaded.

"Katie please. I've hears something about the party last night. There is someone who put some party drugs on your drinks so you are acting like that." He said.

"Who is this asshole?" I asked.

"My team are currently investigating about the issue and they suggest you to have a body guards." He said.

"I can protect my self, it's a waste of money." I said.

"If that was for your safety, it wouldn't be a waste of money." He said.

"I have a future to save for Quen, having a body guards are still not my priority." I said and then get the tray.

"Then I will hire for you." He said and tap something on his phone.

"Hire for the great Alexandria Sayson!" I said.

"Hey Katie, come on, Alex is just a friend of mine. Nothing special." He said.

"I don't believe you." I said.

"Don't be too insecure okay? You are a nice person. Good attitide and a bonus prettu face." He said before my little poodle barked.

"Kiko, did you miss Mom?" I asked him and he barked.

"Kiko really missed you." He said.
