Cancer patient.

"You're not upset that I'm going to die soon. You know I'm not joking, right?" I asked before pulling away from Arthur, tears still streaming freely from my eyes.

I blow my nose and stare at him intently. "Shhhh!" Arthur mumbled as he placed his hands on my lips to keep me quiet. "Don't ever talk about death casually, okay? You have cancer, but that doesn't mean you're an animal who shouldn't be afraid of death." Arthur advises as he wipes the tears from my eyes before pulling me closer for another warm-hearted hug.

Everything that is going on right now feels surreal to me. I'm not sure if this is a dream or reality.

I wasn't expecting Arthur to accept me so easily because I'd been keeping it from him for a long time.

No man, I believe, would readily accept a cancer patient, but Arthur was an exception.

He cried with me, advised me, confessed his love for me and he even coaxed me, making it seem like a dream.
