CHAPTER 16

Mikaya's POV

I woke up with pain in my body. When I opened my eyes, I immediately saw Dylan. He's holding my hand and looks so worried.

"Dylan."

I called him in a small voice. But that was enough for him to hear me.

He was shocked when he saw me. His face brightened when he noticed that I was awake.

"Thank God, you're awake. Are you alright?"

He asked me worriedly.

"Wait, I'll just call a doctor first, okay. I'll just be a moment."

Then he left my room. I sat on my bed. My Mom and my Dad also went inside with Sky, my son. He looked so worried too.

A little later, Dylan arrived with a doctor. After they examined me, they told me that I can be discharged today because I did not receive any serious injuries except for a scratch on my forehead and arm. My Mom came to me after the doctor left.

"It's good that you woke up. We are all worried. Are you okay? Do you want anything?"
