Mikaya's POV

I still think about Justine's words, all the things that he said. I want to be happy because after four years he is still willing to accept me and my son. But everything is not that easy because a lot of things have changed. Our life is not as easy as it seems, everything is complicated.

My Mom hired a makeup artist for the two of us. Today we have an event to attend. I won't be taking Sky with me because he might just get sleepy at the event and it will end a little late. My brother Mandy and my Dad were also with us. Mom said it was a celebration for the two companies being business partners.

Honestly, I don't want to attend this event but my Dad insisted that I should come so I have no choice. He said that he will introduce me to the shareholders and business partners of our company. Fortunately, Bea Anne's family will also come because their family is one of our company's shareholders and I am relieved that there’s someone I can talk to at the event.
