CHAPTER 6

Sitting on the window, Anna was looking at the trees dancing to the direction of the wind, birds singing songs to their babies and teaching them to fly. Tears began to roll from her eyes.

"It would have been so different if you both would be here mom and dad."

Mark entered the room. He had lunch plate in his hands. Coming forward towards her he asked her to have lunch.

"You must be hungry. Come sit and have this."He raised the plate as he said.

"I am not hungry. I have lost my appettite. Thanks for asking and also for helping me out in my bad phase of life." As she said, tears rolled down her cheeks once.

Mark bended towards her and with his fingers wipped her tears. He placed the plate on the table and went out.

"I have to leave this place as soon as possible. I can't stand this person."Anna thought to herself.

Mark was standing in the hallway when he heard footsteps of someone. Looking backwards he saw Anna there standing.

"Thank you for letting me stay at your place. I take my leave now."

She rushed towards the main entrance even before Mark can say a word.

"This girl is too weird."Mark muttered from behind.

Anna was walking down the streets when she saw Nina and Lucas sitting in the cafe and having lunch. They were seemed to be happy with each other.

"I am so glad to be finally with you......I am now the owner to all the property that was only for me....."Nina exclaimed.

"But what about Anna? Do you even know where she had been all night? Is she fine?"

Nina got furious as she saw that Lucas was feeling pitiful for Anna.

"Why do you care for her? You did not even love her. You were with her for so long but she never permitted you to touch her. Do not think of her. I do not care if she lives or dies until or unless she disturbs me in my life."

"I don't love her but we had been friends for more than 10 years. I know her that she will never do something wrong."

Both started arguing.

Nina went back to her home to try once again.

"Mother....!"

No reply came from inside the house.

"Grandpa.....!"

Still no reply.

"Is anybody home?"

"Who the hell is so loud this morning?"Her stepmother came downstairs shouting.

"Mom....It's me.....Anna...."

"Why have you came back.....What do you want?"

"I want all that belongs to me." Anna spoke coldly.

"Nothing belongs to you here."

"This property, this mansion, the bussiness everything belongs to me. I am my father's first daughter. I am whole right over his things."

"But now everything is now on Nina's." A cold and fierce voice came from behind. Looking back Anna and her stepmother both saw Grandpa standing there with folded arms.

Anna's grandpa was in his mid 70s. He had white hairs and white beard with moustache but he was strong enough. He always wore a printed shirt along with pant and coat. Grandpa had a heavy voice because of which mostly people would get scared.

"Now everything belongs to Nina. Did you forgot you signed that agreement papers?" Grandpa questioned.

"I did not signed any papers. Wait...... about when you are talking about?"

"Day before yesterday you signed the agreement papers which clearly stated that you will not get any thing from this family and you have no rights." Stepmother said.

"No.....I did not......Ohh.......I see..... This is all your daughter doing. She drugged me and tried to sell me off and now she took away my everything." Anna said looking at her stepmom.

"So what are you waiting for. Step the hell out of my house and do not dare to come back."

"I will come back to take what belongs to me." Anna said boldly.

Outside was a bright weather. She walked a mile to reach to her best friend's house but unfortunately she was not at home.

"When will she be back?" Anna asked the housekeeper.

"She has gone out for about a week or more. I will inform her about your coming."

"Ok sure." Saying she left the place as she could not stay there.

She had not eaten anything since yesterday. Because of the last night she was feeling numb and weak. Due to the weakness she was not able to see what was happening around her and got hitted by a car.

All she could remember that moment was that she has no one to help her.

Someone came and carried her to the car and drove away.

Few hours later, Anna woke up. She was unconsious for about 5 or 6 hours. Sitting next to her she found Mark. He had been sitting here since he came to her.

~FLASHBACK~

When Anna left his place, Mark sent his one of his best bodyguard to her safety.

Anna came out of her house and went to Leslie's place being followed by the bodyguard. As the car hit her, she fainted and the bodyguard came to pick her up.

He picked her and took her to the hospital and called Mark. In few minuted Mark was there standing outside the OT.

"She had a few injury which would recover in 3 4 days." Doctor explained.

Mark asked "Do you need anything?"

"No. I am fine" Anna replied.

Suddenly Mark's phone started to ring. Looking at the number his face expressions changed. He was looking anxious and he ran out of the ward to take the call.

"I am glad that you called. I have been trying to call you since yesterday but there was no response. I wanted to tell you something. Where are you tell me I'll pick you up." Mark said everything in one go. He seemed to be worried but he lost temper when he listened to the other.

"Hello......" A women spoke.
