CHAPTER 8

After a while, screeching of tyres was heard outside a big mansion. It had a royal artitect. There were many trees and plants in the garden outside which was increasing the mansion's beauty.

There was nobody at home because Mark himself opened the door. Looking at the mansion Anna walked inside but suddenly was stopped by him. She became confused.

Mark drew out new slippers out of the shoe stand and handed them over to her.

"For the time being wear these. Buy another ones for youself later."

Anna changed the slippers and came in.

Sitting in the hall, Mark sat closing his eyes. Anna did not wanted to disturb him but she was not sure where to go, where should she stay in this big mansion. She scanned the whole hall. The design of the hall was modern and classy.

"Is this your house?" Anna asked as she hesitated.

Mark opened his eyes. Looking at Anna he just nodded his head in response.

"Yes. And from now on you can stay here."
