CHAPTER 9

Opening the door Anna slowly entered the room. The room was completely dark. On seeing properly, the only thing she could see was stairs going down. The stairs where ended, had a dim light. These voices were maybe coming from downstairs. Anna prayed to God for safety and started to go down. On half way through the stairs, she realized that there was a beer bar down there. As she was doing down, the smell of strong alcohol was increasing.

"Mark are you fine?" Anna could only ask this as she herself was too scared.

There was Mark seated near a table. In his one hand was a bottle of wine and his other hand was resting on the table. There were many pieces of broken glasses of wine around the table. Some pieces of glass were also lying on the table because of which there were numerous cuts on his hand. The blood was oozing out from those cuts but there not even a slight pain seen on his face. It seemed like he was not feeling anything. How even he would feel anything, he had drank too much
