Chap 7. Rendi Finds Mira

Chapter 7

"Close your eyes first?" said Bastian as he took out a long black tie from his coat pocket.

Mira laughed at her son's behavior. "But for what?" she asked casually, not willing to cooperate.

"Mom!" exclaimed Bastian with a sulking face.

Mira laughed again and then complied with Bastian's wishes. "Okay, okay, I'll do it," she said with her heart melting at the sight of her son's sulking face.

Bastian smiled and walked behind his mother. "Later Bastian will carry Mama inside," Bastian said while tying his mama's eyes.

Mira was surprised and reminded Bastian quickly. "Bas! Mama's wearing a short skirt!" she exclaimed, trying to remove her blindfold.

Bastian immediately restrained his mama's lithe hands. "Bastian will cover it up, Mama just calm down," Bastian said while chuckling at his fashionable mama's panic. Although she is no longer young, her mother always looks fashionable and fashionable.

"Alright," Mira said with a sigh of relief. She trusted her son's soothing words.

Rendi waited for his business partner in his car parked in front of the restaurant. He looked at the brown envelope his informant had given him this afternoon. He opened it and looked through the photos his informant had taken to complete the data he had collected. He was satisfied with the work of his informant.

The image of last night disturbed him and made him groan involuntarily while stroking his lips. When he opened his eyes, it was like he was dreaming because he saw Mira clearly in front of his eyes!

His brow furrowed when he saw that Mira didn't come alone, but rather she came together with handsome young men! He cursed in annoyance! So she really likes those young leaves!

"I'll do it," Aldo said without waiting for Bastian's reply as he quickly picked up his best friend's mother's body. "You cover your mom's thighs with your coat, Bas," Aldo continued to quickly instruct Bastian again.

Bastian was surprised to see his best friend's initiative in carrying his mother's tiny body in front of his eyes. He thought for a moment and then nodded as he opened his expensive suit to cover his mother's exposed thighs.

"Who is this?" asked Mira nervously.

"It's Aldo, Tante," said Aldo quickly calming Mira's aunt.

"Oh, Aldo, who do you think it is!" said Mira with a relieved smile.

Bastian signaled that he would go ahead and organize his mama's welcome.

Aldo nodded in agreement towards Bastian.

"Happy birthday, Auntie," Aldo said as he gazed at Auntie Mira's beautiful face in his arms. He did not expect and was prepared to be reprimanded by Bastian for his presumptuous action, carrying Aunt Mira at this time. He was relieved that Bastian had no problem with this and let him carry his mama like this.

"Thank you, Aldo," Mira said, feeling very comfortable in the arms of her son's best friend. "Auntie, I didn't expect time to go so fast. You know you're all grown up and can carry me now," she continued with a chuckle.

"Aren't you happy to see us growing up?" Aldo asked with his heart racing.

Mira's brow furrowed at Aldo's rapid heartbeat. Is he that heavy? She asked herself with concern.

"Of course I'm happy and sad at the same time. Soon you'll be busy with your own world and will have little time for Tante," Mira said with a sad sigh.

"Will you feel sad and lonely?" Aldo asked with doubt.

Mira chuckled and shook her head. "No, I'm never lonely. I have my friends by my side," said Mira with another frown. "Isn't it hard for you to carry Aunty like this?" asked Mira to make sure. "You can put her down and guide her to walk," said Mira as she heard Aldo's rapid heartbeat in her ears!

Aldo walked as slowly as possible so that they would arrive more slowly. He wanted to savor the moment that had graced his nights. "Auntie is so slim and petite, of course Aldo doesn't feel heavy. Aunty's weight is like carrying cotton for Aldo," he said with a chuckle as he resisted the urge to kiss Aunty Mira who he could now observe from a close distance and in an intimate position!

Mira laughed at Aldo's sweet words. "Your words are so sweet Aldo, you need to teach Bastian to lie to Tante like this!" said Mira, feeling unworthy of Aldo's praise.

"We're almost there," said Aldo with another chuckle.

Rendi growled in annoyance!

It seemed that he and his young lover had made a surprise party because they covered Mira's eyes with a cloth before being carried and Rendi didn't expect to see Mira again in such a short time!

He was furious when he saw Cindy, whose real name was Mira, a well-known entrepreneur and businesswoman, being carried intimately into an Italian restaurant. He unconsciously got out of the car, intending to approach Mira and her male friend but his intention was blocked by the arrival of his business partner.

"I'm sorry, have you been waiting long?" asked Damian with a guilty face but his agenda today was too packed to accept an impromptu appointment like this.

"Not really," said Rendi with an annoyed face.

"Sorry, I'm sorry," Damian said as he clasped his hands together in front of his chest to calm Rendi down.

Rendi realized that Damian had misunderstood! "No, it's not because of this that I'm moody," said Rendi as he calmed Damian down.

"That's good then. How about we get in my car, your driver can follow us from behind. So we can talk a bit about the new business we're going to do together in the car," Damian suggested.

Rendi actually objected because he wanted to meet Mira right now but he felt that his arrival would make the party awkward so he decided to hold back and follow his business partner into the car.

Mira's blindfold was removed and many confetti explosions were lit simultaneously towards Mira.

Mira smiled at the sight of so many of her family and chief employees coming to celebrate her birthday. Mira clasped her hands together in front of her chest as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for all of them coming to her surprise party.

She hugged her siblings and former mother and father-in-law one by one with a smile on her face, and also with emotion because they were willing to attend.

"Thank you, Father, Mother," Mira said as she welcomed them.

"Thank you for inviting us," Linda said softly and gave her gift to Mira.

"Why do you need to give a gift, Mom?" said Mira, feeling touched.

"Wear it even though it's not expensive but I ordered it specially for you," said Linda gently.

"Why do you say that? I will definitely use your gift," said Mira sincerely.

"Today I cooked a birthday meal but you didn't come to the house with Bastian like the previous year," Linda told Mira.

"I'm sorry Mom, I..." Mira said, feeling bad about it. She shouldn't have stayed in the hotel room last night!

"Good thing Bastian called and told us about this surprise party," Linda said as she patted Mira's hand gently.

"Thank you that Mom and Dad could take the time to come here," Mira said kindly.

"Even though Teo is gone, we already consider you as our own daughter, Mir," Ronald told Mira.

"Thank you, Mom and Dad," Mira said as she wiped away her tears of joy.

"Mir, ..." called Linda with a teasing look.

"Yes, Mom, what's wrong?" asked Mira with a furrowed brow.

"On this birthday, are you still single?" asked Linda cautiously.
