“I've been eyeing you all night,” he said, looking at me, grinning like a maniac. My energy was depleted but I tried to scream even though I knew it was futile. I looked at him with fear in my eyes. ‘No this can't be, I can't lose my virginity to this man. I have to try and get away,’ I thought. I mustered up all my strength and tried to get off the bed but he pushed me down. “Where are you going sweetie?” he asked, while releasing his d**k from his pants. I started to thrash to get loose but it was no use. He started to remove my leather pants and tears started to well up in my eyes. “Please, let me go,” I pleaded but he only laughed. “You look so nice when you beg,” he said, and I finally got a scream out, but he quickly covered my mouth. “You bitch,” he said, slapping me across my face. ‘Is this really how I lose my virginity,’ I thought. He started to rip the pants and thong off me and positioned himself at my entrance. I closed my eyes, and all I could think about was Gabriel. I was bracing myself for the penetration, but it didn't happen. I opened my eyes to see Gabriel standing over him while beating him to a pulp. I burst into tears and he turned and looked at me with concern written all over his face. Gabriel’s Pov “Hello, Mom,” I answered, holding the phone to my ear. “Gabe, when are you going to find someone? I am tired of waiting for you to give me a grandson or granddaughter. Even your grandmother is waiting for a great-grandchild. You are 25 years old already, what are you waiting for?” she shouted from the other side of the phone. I chuckled, “Mom, don't worry, I think you will have one soon.” “Oh, so you find someone you want to spend your life with?” She questioned. The image of Bella flashed in my mind, “I think so, Mom. I got to go, she is waiting on me,” I said. She shouted again through the phone, “Boy, what are you waiting for? Go to her and don't let me keep you.” As I stepped back inside, the smile on my lips faded. Bella wasn’t where I left her. I went over and asked Alex where she went, but he had no clue. I saw that the drink I ordered was hardly touched, so I inspected it and something was in it. “Is there something wrong with it,” he looked at me and asked. “Her drink has been drugged,” I said, pacing back and forth until I saw the door on the far left swinging slightly. A cold weight dropped in my stomach. I got a bad feeling about this. I clenched my fist. ‘I should have never taken that damn call,’ I thought. The moment I left her at the bar, something twisted in my gut. I didn’t know why, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that leaving Bella alone was a mistake. “Be careful man. You don't know what you're up against,” Alex said, because he knows I am going to go. I went in that direction, and that's when I heard her scream before it was muffled. I ran in the direction and kicked open the door. All I could see was red when I saw that man standing over her frail body. He was positioning himself to penetrate her. I lunged at him and started to punch him in his face. That's when I heard her crying and I turned around and looked at her with concern. I ran over to her and hugged her. “It's ok, I'm here,” I said, rubbing her back up and down. She gripped my waist and started to cry harder. I took out my phone and called two men to get the trash out of the room and bring him to the police station. When I saw her calming down, I tried to pull away, but her grip on my waist tightened, and I looked down into her eyes. There was no hesitation there, only a vulnerable kind of certainty that made my chest ache. “Please… I want you to be my first,” she whispered, her voice trembling but steady with certainty. My body stiffened, torn between desire and the need to protect her. “Bella, are you sure about this?” I asked, my thumb brushing across her cheek. “Yes,” she breathed, her eyes glistening. “I don’t want it to be anyone else.” I cupped her face and pressed my lips to hers, tasting both her fear and her longing. Her hands fisted in the back of my shirt as if she was afraid I might pull away. I didn't. Instead, I deepened the kiss, letting my tongue stroke against hers until her soft moan vibrated against my mouth. I lifted her easily, her legs instinctively wrapping around my waist, her body molding against mine as though she’d always belonged there. I laid her down gently on the bed, hovering over her like she was made of glass. “Fuck, you’re beautiful,” I whispered, my voice rough with restraint. My lips traced the delicate curve of her neck, savoring the way her pulse quickened beneath my mouth. Her breath hitched, her fingers sliding into my hair as I trailed kisses lower, over her collarbone, down to the soft swell of her chest. She arched into me, the sound of her moan sending heat straight through me. I pulled back just enough to look into her eyes again. “If you want me to stop, tell me,” I said firmly, even as my lips hovered a breath away from hers. Her answer came in the form of a desperate kiss and her hands pulling me closer. Her kiss silenced any doubts left in my mind. The way she clung to me, trembling yet unyielding, made my chest tighten. She wasn’t just choosing me, she was trusting me with a part of herself no one else had touched. I held her closer, promising with every touch that I’d take care of her, cherish her, love her. The night swallowed us whole, and the rest of the world faded away.Gabriel’s Pov “No, they don't have a time that they would return and they didn't sound worried” He said, holding his head down. “They just sounded cautious on why you wanted information on them,” he added.“Well that is expected, I guess I need to contact her myself to find out,” I said.“Do you want her number?”“Do you have it?” I questioned.“Yes.”“Then why the hell didn't you tell me that?” I scolded. “You have me here thinking of how I would reach out to her,” I added.“Are you sure you want to do it?” He asked. “Remember, whatever you do can put her in danger,” he added.“Yes, I'm aware,” I said firmly. “I can't let my father be the first to get to her,” I added.“Okay then” Dex picked up his phone and searched for the number before forwarding it to me. “She’s strong, but she shouldn't have to be going through this alone,” I murmured, looking out the window, my gaze unfocused. ‘I know she has someone who she can depend on but I want her to talk to me,’ I thought.“It’s sent,”
Gabriel’s POVThe helicopter came to a stop on the rooftop of the estate. I was getting suffocated in the tiny space. I stepped out first. The cool night air hit me as I walked through the door to go down in the living room with Dex following closely behind. I couldn't stop thinking about her. ‘What is she doing? Is she ok?’ all those thoughts flooded my mind at once. I know she isn't missing but why can't I find her. I just want to see her again and talk to her.I walked inside without waiting for Dex, my footsteps echoing through the silent halls. A few servants looked up in surprise from how I was walking fast. They greeted me softly, but I didn’t slow down. I couldn’t afford pleasantries tonight. I just wanted to be alone for a while. As I passed the library, I caught sight of my mother standing near the window. Her posture tenses as her eyes spotted me.“Gabe…” she started but I cut her off.“Please save it. I can’t deal with this right now, Mom,” I said gently but it weighs. H
Bella's Pov “Richard we found out daughter,” she broke down and I started crying as well. “She really is our daughter,” she added.“Oh my gosh,” she sobbed. “It’s you. It’s really you.”I pressed my free hand over my mouth as tears spilled down my cheeks. Lissa wrapped her arms around me, holding me steady as my whole body shook.“We’ve been looking for you,” the woman continued, trying to steady her voice. “Every day, we have never stopped. I'm so happy.”“I didn’t know,” I whispered, my voice breaking. “I’m sorry.”“No,” Richard said firmly. “You have nothing to apologize for. You were a child. It's my fault for not watching you properly.”The woman sniffled and said “I’m Eleanor, your mother.” The word mother echoed painfully in my head.“I already have a mom,” I said softly, guilt overtaking me instantly.“And that’s okay,” she replied quickly. “We’re not here to replace your family. We just… want to reunite with you and get to know you.” I nodded even though she couldn’t see me
Bella's PovI tried to sleep but it wasn't coming. I picked up and stared at my phone for a long time after Lissa’s breath evened out and I knew she was asleep. My mind wouldn't rest. The words just keep replaying in my head over and over again.“Isabella Powell,” I whispered. That name felt so strange. It's like I'm learning all about my life over and over again. I turned on my phone and searched for the contact number. “Powell Residence” stared me in the eyes. My thumb hovered over it hesitatingly. ‘What if they don't believe me? What if I'm not the person they expect me to be? What if everything I worked so hard for goes down the drain when I call them?’ I thought, allowing my thoughts to run wild.I exhaled shakily and locked the screen. I pressed the phone to my chest trying to steady my heart beat.“You’re hesitating aren't you?,” Lissa mumbled sleepily, with her back still turned to me.I froze at the sound of her voice. “Were you awake this entire time? I thought you were sle
Gabriel’s Pov“Hi son,” my father said, walking towards the table smiling and my blood is boiling with rage.“Don't call me that. Who gives you the privilege?” I sneered. “Don't be like that. I know I haven't been in your life for 20 years but I'm here now am I not?” He said sarcastically. I looked at him. Really looked at the man in front of me to see if he really had the audacity to be saying that to me. I stood and slammed my hands on the table startling the Thompson family who was sitting down watching the drama unfold.“You think you can just walk out of my life for 20 years and just appear when you want to and expect me to accept you?” I said glaring at him with my chest heaving heavily.“News flash I'm not some push over. I'm not like my mom, someone you can give sweet words to and she tells you everything I've been up to,” he’s looking at me shocked like he wasn't expecting me to say that. “If it wasn't for you threatening me with Bella I wouldn't even have to be staying her
Bella's Pov“What is it Mom?” I asked, concerned.“You see… the necklace you have, it's a family heirloom. We found out only three people in the world have a piece of it,”she said, still nervous.“Do you know who those people are?”“Yes I do. It turns out you have 2 older brothers. They are the only people that have a piece and I found an article from 5 years ago,” she said. “It states that they are searching for their younger sister who has been missing since she was 5 years old,” she added.“Do you know the name of the family?” I asked, nervously. “Does the name Powell ring a bell?” “Not that I can think of but I know they are the number 1 richest family in San Diego followed by the Rinaldi Family,” I said.“Aunty T, if I'm following correctly. Are you saying that Bella is the missing daughter of the Powell family?” Lissa asked, surprised. “Thee, Isabella Powell that has been missing for 15 years?” She added, getting excited. I looked at my mother, shocked waiting for her to answe
