Ch 36: Erick Got No Chill

Bella's POV

"I love you and that's all that should matter to you. I'll never make a mistake of bringing up your past or humiliating you on the basis of that. I give you my word," he confessed, his voice full of sincerity and dedication.

My tears turned into happiness, that moment I felt like the luckiest woman. The man feared by everyone in the underworld was being gentle and soft to me. It somehow gives me butterflies. His gentleness and the way he explains everything to me in his stuttering voice so that I do not misunderstand his intention. All of this wants me to tease him.

I joined my hands with his, curling my fingers into his fingers and leaning my face on his shoulder. I whispered,"I get it. Don't get flustered. However, today I want to tell you about everything I have been hiding from you."

"I, too, have many secrets which I wish to share with you before our official marriage."
