CHAPTER 10: TAKING CARE OF MY HUSBAND

Aurora’s POV

As soon as I stepped out of the company building where I work, a black limousine stopped in front of me. When a man wearing a black suit opened the car door, that’s when I saw Mrs. Lockwood smiling at me.

“Hello there, sweetie. Can we hang out for a while?”

I smiled at her and bowed my head. “M-Mrs. Lockwood.”

“Just call me mom. Come on, hop in.”

I thought we would be going somewhere, but it turns out we would only go to Timothy’s house.

“How was your vacation in the private island? Did you have fun there?”

“H-Huh? Oh, yes. We had so much fun there. It’s so beautiful there, actually. Timothy also told me you are the one who gave them that as a gift.”

She drank some lemon juice and looked at me again. “That’s true. I bought that for him because I know he often wants to be alone. You know how introverted my son is. Also, he is the kind of guy who always work, so I think that would be the best place for him to unwind and have some fresh air.”
