CHAPTER 3: HE IS MY BOSS?!

Aurora’s POV

I woke up with my head hurting so bad. I opened my eyes and immediately turned my head to the side to see if Timothy was still there, but I was wrong. He probably went home after having sex with me.  I also looked around my room to see if he left a note or any message, but he didn’t. Just when I pass by my mirror, I saw my nape full of hickeys. I could also feel my womanhood numb because of how wild Timothy was last night. He didn’t stop until he got satisfied.

My cheeks felt hot as I remembered what happened last night.

My first sex was with a stranger.

Well anyways, that’s just a one-night stand. It’s not as if I’d see him again.

 “From now on, I will just focus on my job. Men are just a waste of time.” I said to myself before I stepped inside the bathroom to take a shower because I still have to go to work.

It’s my first day of being PR leader and I’m late.

“And here comes our new PR leader! Congratulations, Aurora! Looks like you’re late today, huh? Did you have a hot celebration last night with your boyfriend?” asked Rebecca, my closest friend at work.

I smiled awkwardly. “Y…Yeah…”

A hot celebration with his brother, actually...

"I knew it! I don't even know why you guys still aren't married."

As soon as I sat down, I received a message from my ex-boyfriend asking me if when will I take my things from his apartment since Wendy feels unhappy seeing my belongings there.

I almost threw my phone because of anger.

Where do they even get the guts to act like they didn’t do me shit?

It's been only a day since I found them cheating on me and they are already acting like they didn't do anything wrong. 

‘You can just throw my things away, I don’t care.’ I just replied then blocked his number on my phone. I don't want him contacting me again. 

If only I could punch his face right now. 

I tried to focus on my work but I just couldn’t stop thinking about Timothy. He said he is Philip’s brother. How did he know about my address and how come he knows me when I barely even know him? Is he stalking me or something? Or maybe Philip told him about me? 

Ugh. Stop thinking about him now, Aurora.  Stop thinking about that stranger you just had a one night stand with.

He probably has a girlfriend already. It’s my fault that I seduced him without even asking if he has a girlfriend already. If he already has a girlfriend, then I have no difference with Wendy. 

I'm such an idiot.

“Have you heard about the CEO we’ll be working with this time? I saw his face on one of the magazines and he is freaking handsome! Also, he is one of the wealthiest CEO in the country! He just came back from England this month!”

“Yes! I saw him too! I swear I am more than willing to lie down for him!”

"I heard he is single! I mean, how can a handsome and smoking hot man like him be single?!"

"Come on. For sure that's just rumors. I bet he already slept with so many women! And I am willing to be one of them!"

"Me too!"

I could hear my colleagues talking about our new boss and I don’t even know why, but I suddenly feel curious about him, too. If he is that famous and wealthy, then how come I don’t know him? Oh, well. I just got promoted as the PR leader, so how would I know. From now on, I’ll be directly working with CEOs, so I guess I have no choice but to deal with them. Given that most CEO's are so perfectionist.

“Aurora?” Hannah, my manager suddenly called.

“Yes?”

“Come with me. We will be meeting with our new boss. He said he'll meet us in his office.”

I nodded my head and gathered my things as I stood up. “Coming.”

“Oh my God! You are so lucky you’ll get to see him first!” Rebecca said.

“Come on, you’ll see him later, too.”

Hannah and I went to that CEO’s company to have a meeting with him about the project he wants to conduct and plan with us. The project I did last time was so successful that I got promoted, so there’s no way I would let my first project as the PR leader fail.

“I wonder what’s taking him so long…” I mumbled to myself as I squinted at my watch.

It’s been past an hour now since we arrived here and the CEO still hasn’t shown up. I know he must be so busy because he is a CEO, but our time is also important and the mere fact that he know we will be having a meeting today gives him the responsibility to at least inform us about what time he could tackle the plan with us.

“Oh, I think he is here already.” Said Hannah then stood up.

I just heaved a deep sigh and followed her. I guess I have to deal with such a jerk CEO for a month. First project as the PR Leader and it already sucks.

“The CEO has arrived.” An old man in a suit announced.

The door of the conference room then opened. I was already cursing that CEO in my mind for arriving late until I saw his face.

My eyes widened and my mouth agape.

Those eyes and lips... and that body..

This couldn’t be real….

This can’t be….

The CEO of this company is none other than….

THE MAN I HAD A ONE NIGHT STAND WITH?!!
