Vera's POV

I stayed inside the car, my fingers absentmindedly tracing the edge of the car window as my eyes stayed fixed on Liam and Sarah.

Even from where I sat, I could tell the conversation wasn't pleasant. Liam stood stiffly in front of her, and arah's lips kept moving. His face stayed hard, with his shoulders tense.

I couldn't hear a single word they were saying, but I didn't need to. He sure looked really angry.

I shifted in my seat.

‘Should I get down? Or should I stay here?’
