Kai's POV

I was done arranging my bags but it felt so wrong returning to the pack without her. My eyes darted to the clock fixed on the wall for the umpteenth time, hoping that she would be here with me.

She won't come.

I wanted to banish the thought but then I realized that she wouldn't come, after all, she sent me out of her house the last time and hadn't called me till now. I wasn't sure I could move on yet but I had to return to my pack and immerse myself with royal duties.

I picked up my phone and dialed Callan's phone. He picked up almost immediately with a cheerful voice and greeted me.

"I'll be returning today," I informed him and silence followed.

"Did you find her?" He asked, his voice less cheerful.

"I have found her but she doesn't want me anymore and I won't force her to do something that is against her will," I said with a shrug though my heart was tearing into pieces.

He sighed, understanding my pain. "I don't know why I feel this way, Alpha, but I belie
