Corey's POV

I took a walk around the garden, even though I was still scared of having Kai pass by and find out that I was staying in Natasha's house. I rushed back into the pantry and took a pair of shears, gloves, a rake, and a dustpan then returned to the garden.

Blake was resting peacefully in his crib and since I was still job hunting, I had to distract myself as being in the house all day had become very boring. I worked on some stalks which were growing really fast then gathered them together.

I was engrossed in my work, humming along to the song that played on my ear pods. When I was satisfied with the work I'd done, I moved to the next rows of flowers that bordered along the fence.
