“Stop beating around the bush, Maya. I don't have time to spare,” I said, wearing my apron and gloves as I went to sit on my wooden chair.

“Dont you want to know the reason why I don't like you?” She asked,

“I'm not curious,” I replied, while I mixed the colors on my palette.

“You are so full of yourself. I wonder how Jaden let himself be seduced by you,” she spat.

“What?” I said,

“Isn't it true? You got this job because you seduced Jaden into giving you the job,” she said, spitefully.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself from exploding with anger and also avoid saying something I shouldn't say because she's my superior.

I set my brush down slowly and turn to her, “Will you take responsibility for this if I'm unable to finish it in 3weeks?”

“Still as rude as ever. Well, I want this to get into your thick skill. Jaden isn't in your league, he would ditch you soon enough as soon as your contract ends,” she spat.
