Rolape danced to the music the DJ played; 'let the beat hit'em' by Lisa as she carried off a carton of Spaghetti she just collected from Esther. The people seemed responsive now, they called her name and said thank you but the men and women prayed in Yoruba "a dá fùn è" (bless you).

Rolape danced like an idiot as she approached the people while they reciprocated the nincompoop dance steps in a happy aura. 

The bus Esther entered had no seats for the sake of the gifts jam-packed in it and now she could enter as there were only a few boxes but most of the people if not all had each a package, she was sure Rolape didn't estimate the gifts according to the number of people in the community but it was more than enough.

Esther's stomach rumbled, she had just one toast in the morning before she left home. Out of exhaustion, Esther got out of the bus feeling light-headed and about to faint.
