Keeping her hands over her lips, she held onto her breath. As far as she remembered, Owen told her not to get too close to Conall. Since Luxury already gave her some information about his haphephobia, Irene knew about it but she never thought her mind would go on an 'deaf mode'.

Opening his eyes Conall looked around, scanning the room with a stern face. As he found nothing suspicious, settling his back on the sofa he ran his fingers through his jet black hair.

"Why do I feel like something heavy just fell on me and it was hard to breathe?" Conall muttered, resting his head against the headrest.

'Is he calling me heavy? What the...'

Annoyed, she looked up a little and the moment she saw he was getting up, she almost had a face planted on the floor.

'Damn it! If he stands up right now and sees me, what would I do?' she bit her lips, hoping he wouldn't see her.
