As the door opened, she was taken aback. In utter disbelief she kept staring at the tall figure who appeared in the room.

With a wide open mouth and confusion written on her face, she uttered, "You?"

Conall with an unconcerned face as always walked towards the bed casually. Putting down the fruit basket on the table he settled on the couch. As he noticed how she had been looking at him, he asked her, "Am I not allowed here?"

"Ahh, no no not that. I just... Why are you here?" Startled, she looked down.

"How are you feeling now? I heard you had a fever."

"I'm feeling better now. Thanks for your concern." She replied with a small smile. Irene still couldn't believe that he was here in person.

"I was going to say this after work but..."

Seeing how he looked all cold again, she assumed she knew what he was going to announce. Irene grabbed the sheet in her fists and looked down.

"Ahh that... So you are here to say it in person."

"Since it's big news and you are sick..."
