I walked all the way back to the apartment thinking about the problem Tom was facing. I wanted to help him but he was not letting me to and that saddened me. He had been a great support for me ever since and me- well I was never that useful to any person.
It had turned my phone off when Alim had called me. I wanted to go to the apartment and see Zara but I knew better than that.
"Why were you not picking up my call?" Alim said glaring at me.
I just shrugged which earned me an animalistic growl from him.
"You are back early?" I asked going around him and taking off the jacket.
"You came sooner than my expectation," he stated.
