Chapter # 45
Following day, I woke up before Alim. Usually he wakes up before me and I'm sure even before the birds but nowadays his routine is changing. He sleeps for longer time.
After doing my morning routine, I went into the kitchen and started making breakfast. Events from last night came in my mind.
He had been furious when he observed I had stopped him from doing anything further. He was trying to pin me down with his angry gaze.
"What is the issue Arya?" He asked in an irritated voice.
"I'm exhausted already," I said cupping his cheek.
Hearing my reply his eyes softened, and he leaned into me kissing my forehead and then laid on his side and pulled me in his embrace.
"I told you not to go to university. Take rest."
"You are again up early?" I was brought out of my thoughts from his voice. I looked at him and he was drinking water from a bottle.

The last night had been wonderful. It felt magical to be in his warm embrace after so long. I was lying in the bed leisurely and was sighing peacefully.
