NARRATIVEThe next day was a busy one for the employees of DeLa's Fashion House as they prepared to move the goods to the various locations they were needed.Adele had just got off phone with several of her clients and they were greatly pleased when they found out she'll be delivering the goods to them today. They sincerely commended her for a job well done_as they were amazed she could deliver within such a short time.Well, after the hired hands were done with their own part of the work, Adele had sent them away after paying them handsomely of course. She wasn't going to let outsiders see how her company finalizes the branding logo of the company's name in case of counterfeit issues. "Ms. Rivera," Adele turned her attention from her phone to her client who was checking out some of her designs in the shopping section of the company."Yes, Madame Georgina. Is there any to your liking in that section?" She walked up to the middle aged affluent lady. "Oh yes," the woman said enthusias
NARRATIVE In a black van speeding down the highway towards Washington DC, two young men_Claire Rock's subordinates, were singing loudly and vibing along to the pop music blasting from the van speakers totally oblivious of the black sedan car tailing them. Not long afterwards, they arrived at a checkpoint and on looking out the window, one of them sighted the police and almost panicked but his partner was quick to give him a warning glare. "Be cool! Remember what the boss had said. If we are found out, we'll be the ones going down not her. Do you understand?!" The second guy swallowed and hurriedly nodded, pushing his uneasiness aside and keeping a straight face. The car behind belonged to none other than Carlo's subordinates. They've been instructed to make sure things fall accordingly as they'd planned. Some minutes later, it was their turn to get inspected. The first guy lowered the glass of the Van's door. "Good day, officer." They greeted the policeman at the side of the
NARRATIVE~Few minutes earlier~Carlo was having a leisure afternoon swim in his swimming pool when a subordinate walked up to him."Boss, Claire Rock's subordinates aren't willing to comply with the authorities and confess who they work for." The young guard, dressed in the usual bodyguard outfit said with a slight bow.Carlo swam back to the edge of the pool and climbed out, his black hair sticking to his scalp as the liquid trickle down his face and drool-worthy body. He was shirtless and his well defined muscles and abs wasn't something the maids around could get their eyes off. Heck! Their boss was freaking hot!Even as one of them hurriedly gave him a towel to dry his body, she couldn't help but blush."Tell Alvin to get on with it." He smirked._____Alvin was in his computer lab_in a private section of his room even his sister didn't dare to enter. He just received the young CEO's order and was gleefully doing his part. He stared at the couple of videos and photos in his comp
ADELE'S POV "Seriously it was never my intention to do that. I'd never do something like that to you. It was a situation beyond my control. Please just hear me out Delly." He was on his knees, tears rolling down his cheeks as he begged me to forgive him, to give him another chance. I wipe the tears off my eyes as I stared at him, my heart clenching tightly against my chest.~~~~ "Yes, I do. I'll love and honor, cherish and support, care for and protect you with my all, only till forever. Until..." "Till death do us path," He smiled. His smile so bright, so peaceful and yet so breath taking. I couldn't take my eyes off him_finally, he's mine." A tear slid down my cheek the moment we ended the vows and were joined in Holy Matrimony.______ I sat up the bed instantly, my eyes so wide open I feared they'll fall out. My hands desperately searching the sheets for my ringing phone. What was that just now? What sort of crazy dream was that? Did he already succeeded in messing wi
ARSENIO'S POV I was driving along Adele's neighborhood on my way to her place. My plan was a perfect, weekend surprise visit. However, my joy was short lived the moment I looked out the window. My face turned sour immediately. She was standing and talking with an unfamiliar man along the pedestrian. On looking closer, I found it's none other than her ex fiance, the CEO of CR's Luxury, Carlo Rodriguez. I don't like this! I hate what I see now and I'm not going to sit back and do nothing while he crawls back into her heart. He disrespected, humiliated and broke her six years ago. He has no right over her again! I'll make sure of it. Pulling up at the side of the road, I hurriedly stepped out of my car and hastily but determinedly walked towards them just in time to hear her say; "Let go..." She said, although her voice sounded weak_as though she was considering his request. For her sake and my sake, I had to intervene. "I'm pretty sure the lady said you should let go!"
NARRATIVEQuezon City, Philippines. *This is my last act of benevolence to you. Only for the sake that many years ago I once adored you, May. I forgive you already that's why you're able to return safely. But sorry, I can't let you travel out of Philippines to any other country for now. Don't worry, the ban would be lifted in a few years. Till then, be good or you'll be making me change my mind. You know I'm being really generous, considering all you did to me. I'll say it again, be good Mayven! Stay away from Adele too. Well I'm sure, I don't have to remind you on that.* Tears rolled down Mayven's cheeks as she reread for the umpteenth time, Carlo's last message to her on the day she was deported back to Philippines. She knew he was being generous truly. However, her current predicament is one she'll forever regret. She blamed her selfish mentality and her one time obsession for Carlo to be the cause of her problem. If only she'd let go of her jealousy a long time ago... Bef
NARRATIVE Mayven finally made up her mind to lie to Clara about never meeting Carlo. She mustn't dare tell her a thing otherwise, Mayven herself would be the one to suffer most from the damages. She wasn't stupid to ignore Carlo's warning. "I never met him since the last time I saw him and Adele six years ago, before the wedding." She said, making Clara to frown slightly. "I don't even know what the talk about him being alive or whatever shit you'd said. Because to me, Carlo must have abandoned Adele intentionally. Especially since he's doing well as you said and didn't get back with her or give reasons as to why he absconded on his supposed wedding day. Also about Adele, you already know the issues I had with her. I'm already paying for my crimes as it is. But I'm sure Adele wouldn't be concerned about the man who caused her so much pain. Also, given the circumstances surrounding our ill-fated relationship, it's certain she wouldn't want to hear about me again." Clara stare
CARLO'S POV I stood at the rooftop of my company's fifteen floored building in New York City. My hands behind my back as I stared down the city, waiting for him to show up. Not long afterwards, I heard footsteps behind me and a small smile reflected briefly on my face. He did show up! He's smart after all. "How smart. I didn't know you'd consider my text seriously." I said without turning to look at him. He walked up and stood beside me at the edge of the roof, staring down the city also. "If it has to do with Adele, of course I would." His words pierced into my heart like a dagger and for some reasons, I wanted to growl but since I couldn't, I just suppressed the urge. "I've also been anticipating to meet you too since I'm ridiculously amazed by your personality." He added sarcastically. Adele must have told him about us. Just how much does he know? Did she consider him that important to such extent? It hurts so much because I've always known Adele to be someone who's
