CHAPTER 41: The Attack

Adele was busy making sketches in her study when the beeping sound of the intercom interrupted her.

She stood up and walked out of her study, past the living room and into her corridor knowing who was at the door. The moment she'd peeped through the intercom, it turned out exactly as she'd predicted. Her sister was by the gate with Arsenio in his car.

It was way past 7pm already, trust Clara to keep him up till this time.

The moment Adele was outside, Arsenio's car drove inside her compound. She'd opened the gate from inside the house earlier.

"Sis!" Clara who was already out of the car squealed, making Adele chuckle as she walked to them.

"I wouldn't bother to ask if you had fun cuz I'm sure you did."

"Oh, you have no idea. Your boyfriend is such a goal. He's gorgeous, sweet, caring and rich. What more can a girl ask for?" Clara said as she waved the leather bags she was holding so her sister could see.
