Glaiza's POV

"I heard from barbie that you'll go on a date later, is that true?" Mom asked me

I sighed "it's not a date mom, I will just accompany my friend to their Family party."

Mom nodded her head "do you have something to wear?"

I sat up from my bed "Yes. Rielle bought me."

"Rielle? Is she the friend you will accompany?"

"Yes mom. That is why it will never be a date"

Mom sat next to me "Why is that? Barbie said to me that Rielle is a sweet girl"

Barbie better explain this to me.

"Because she's a girl? Because we are both girls?" I said almost a question

Mom chuckled "And barbie said Rielle is a gay and she's your girlfriend."

I groaned "What else Barbie said to you? And why aren’t you even mad? So should go 'stay away from her' or 'You should stop seeing her'."

Mom held my hand "Darling, love is love. I'm not against same sex relationship. Is she the reason why you are always smiling these past few days?"

I bowed my head "maybe? Is this right mom?"

"If she's making you happy then Yes. Always choose what makes you happy."

I looked at my mom and smiled "thank you mom. I'm still figuring out this feelings"

"So is it a date?" Mom grinned

"Uhh maybe?"

Mom chuckled "Show me the dress you will wear"

I stood up, went to my walk in closet and took the red dress.

"Here" I showed it to my mom

My frowned "come with me, I have something better than that"

"So how do I look?" I asked mom as I spinned around

"You look so gorgeous" Mom said

"You think Rielle will like this?" I asked, blushing

Mom chuckled "of course. Don't worry baby."

"Is dad at home?" I asked worriedly

Mom smiled sweetly "He's out of the country and even he's here, I will not let him to ruin this night"

"Mom? Why is dad like that? Is it still because of Nath?" I asked

Mom caressed my cheek using her palm "Princess" Mom breathed out

"Is he still blaming me?" I asked again and a tear escaped from my eye

Mom shook her head "No, Princess. No one is blaming you."

"Then why is he acting like that? Like... like I'm not her daughter" I sobbed

Mom wiped my tears "Let's give your dad more time, okay? And hey! Don't cry! This is your night."

I nodded and hugged my mom "Thank you mom."

Mom pulled away "Let's do your hair and make up?"

I smiled "I want to be the most beautiful girl in that party"

"Ri? I'm already outside" I said over the phone

"Can you still wait?" She asked

"Yeah sure." I said

"Uhh about the red, are wearing it? Nadine insisted me to wear this fancy gown and..."

I chuckled "No, actually mom asked me to wear this fancy black gown so you don't have to worry"

She released a sigh of relief "You can go inside if you want."

"Okay. I'll just wait for you in the living room" I hanged up

"I'll go inside" I said to my driver

"Okay, Ms." He said and got out from the limo

He opened the car door for me.

I got out of the limo and made my way to Rielle's house.

"Ri? Are you done? We are getting late" I called out

"Yeah! Almost!" She yelled

I sighed and stood up "What's taking her so long" I uttered

I looked around and saw the picture frames hanging on the wall.

I giggled when I saw Rielle's baby pictures.

"Aww, how cute" I cooed

Oh God! What's happening to me? Why... Why am I acting like this?

I shook my head "Calm down" I breathe in and out

"Glai?" Rielle called out

I turned around "Yeah?"

And there she is walking down the staircase, with her fancy long gown.

"Glai?"

"Glaiza?"

Rielle pushed my jaw up "You might catch some flies." She giggled

I didn't realise that she's already in front of me.

I shook my head "Uhh, I'm sorry. It's just that.... you are so beautiful and... you are shining" I stuttered

Rielle blushed "Thank you. You too, you are so gorgeous always"

"What happened to your hair? It's blond." I asked

She giggled "I went to salon after you dropped me off, just for a change" she smiled

I just nodded.

"Let's go?" She asked offering her hand

I looked at her hand, I smiled and intertwined my fingers with hers.

"Wow" Rielle said as we got inside the limo

"Don't tell me you haven't..."

"Yeah, it's my first time. We also have limo but I just don't feel like them... it's so fancy and all, it's so not me"

I nodded "I understand"

I can't stop admiring Rielle, I can't expect she can be this so beautiful, yeah she's beautiful but tonight, I thought she's a goddess.

I think... I think I like her already.
