Soo-Yun sighed and glanced at the doctor. "What did they say.?" she asked impatiently. Dr. Deff shook his head in disappointment. Soo-Yun nodded and smiled before heading out of his cabin. "How?" She whispered and stepped out of the hospital.
Jun-Sang rested his head back and rubbed his temple. It was an exhausting day for him after the yesterday’s night. The memories of the last night flashing back into his night. It felt like something bothering him like hell. Jun-Sang never experienced such things with Haneul. He closed his eyes and a small smile curved on his lips.
“Answer me. Am I ugly?” Soo-Yun asked again when she didn’t get her answer. Jun-Sang shook his head as no. She smiled and pulled him closer. The powerful smell of wine made Jun-Sang disgusted, but his world stopped and heartbeat fast as she leaned her face near to his. Soo-Yun's gaze landed on Jun-Sang's lips, and she looked into his eyes. Jun-Sang was not in the mood to utter a word. Maybe he also wanted the same. His eyes widened as Soo-Yun placed her lips on his. A soft movement of her plump lips took his heartbeat away. Jun-Sang closed his eyes and warped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer before reposing the kiss. Jun-Sang tilted his head as he deepened the kiss. They were so lost in their first kiss, they didn't want to end the moment. Suddenly, the lack of the air made them break the kiss. Soo-Yun attached her forehead to Jun-Sang, catching their breath. Jun-Sang caressed her cheek and suddenly reality hit him, taking him down to the earth. He regretted the guilt visible all over his face. He thought about Joon Haneul. “Did I just cheat on her with my wife?” He closed his eyes, lost in his own world. “I miss you.” Soo-Yun whispered and put her head on Jun-Sang's shoulder. He shook his head and took her into her room.
Jun-Sang opened his eyes. He was restless because what happened last night kept bothering him. One question on his mind. “Did Soo-Yun mean it, or was it because of the drink?” He slammed his hand on the table. A knock on the door caught his attention. Jun-Sang permitted the person on the other side. “Mr. Jang, someone wants to meet you." A lady with brown hair said he nodded into the response. She smiled and bowed before letting the person in. Jun-Sang's eyes widened in shock as Haneul entered his office. “You?” He asked calmly, causing Haneul to burst into tears. His eyes softened because he couldn't see her cry. Jun-Sang immediately rushed to her and made her sit on the couch. He poured water into the glass and passed her. Haneul smiled and took the glass before drinking water. Jun-Sang sat in front of her, maintaining his distance. “Why are you so far away from me?” Haneul's question pushed Jun-Sang's anger button. He somehow calmed himself. “I am well here. Tell me, what brought you here?” He said coldly as his gaze turned dark.
Soo-Yun came out of her office. She narrowed her eyes when she saw an unexpected person. “Sang-Woon?” she whispered under her breath. Sang-Woon stood in front of her with a big grin. “Hey, How are you doing?” He greeted and Soo-Yun pressed her lips into a thin line. “I am fine.” Sang-Woon nodded his head. “I am in a big hurry. See you again. I need to meet someone.” She left him alone once again. Sang-Woon chuckled sadly. “Why are you doing this to me?” A tear rolled down from his eyes.
Soo-Yun was waiting for Dr. Haneul and Dr. Geun. It’d been two hours since they were busy with an extensive surgery. After a few moments, Dr. Geun came out of the I.C.U. She stepped towards her cabin as someone informed her about Soo-Yun. Soo-Yun stood in respect as Dr. Geun entered the cabin. She bowed to her, Dr. Geun bowed in response and signed her to take a seat. “So Leon Soo-Yun, what brought you here?” Soo-Yun smiled before speaking. “I am here because you and Dr. Haneul was my dad’s surgeon.” Dr. Geun nodded. “Yes, we were.” “I want to know what exactly happened to my father.” Soo-Yun's eyes welled up with tears as these words came out of her mouth. “He got some injuries in his brain. Someone hit him with some kind of iron rods. He also had burns on his body. It also shocked us that it was not a car accident. I asked the man who brought him here what happened to him but he said that car accident. I was also shocked he was a friend of the patient, but was behaving something weird.” Dr. Geun shook her head as the incident came back to her mind. “And he also requested us not to tell that to the family of the patient.” Dr. Geun added that as well. “Do you have any record of my father’s report?” Dr. Geun shook her head in disappointment. “Unfortunately, today the record room burned into the fire. We have nothing to help you right now, but I can tell you about the person's name who brought your father here.”
Soo-Yun sat in her car with a piece of paper in her hand. Tears filled in her eyes she glanced at the paper and sighed. “Why did you do that?” words escaped out of her mouth in hard sobbed. She started the car and drove away. After a long drive, she stopped the car in front of the graveyard. She got out of the car and entered the graveyard. Soo-Yun fell to the ground in front of her father’s grave. “Dad, I want justice for you.” She cried her heart out and wiped her tears away as she felt some kind of peace. “I love you.” She whispered and was about to go back but stopped as her eyes landed on the bracelet which was on the ground. She bent down and took it in her hand. Her eyes widened when she saw the name on it. “Jang. Se-Hun.” Soo-Yun narrowed her eyes and sighed after putting it in her jacket pocket.
Jun-Sang stopped his car as he reached home after a stressful day. He got out of the car and made his way to the entrance. A sigh escaped out of his mouth as his eyes landed on an unwanted person in the house. Mr. Mrs. Jang was waiting for them. Jun-Sang walked to them and shared a warm hug with his mother, totally ignoring his father. “Are you okay?” Mrs. Jang asked worriedly. Jun-Sang nodded his head. “I’ll be.” His mother nodded, and he went to freshen up. Soo-Yun entered the house with a numb body. She forced herself to smile when her eyes met Mrs. Jang. Mrs. Jang hugged her, making her frown. “Go and fresh up.” Soo-Yun nodded a little and went upstairs.
Jun-Sang glanced at Soo-Yun as he saw her lost coming upstairs. He didn’t say a word and rushed down to the living room. “So you are not taking care of your wife?” Mr. Jang said mockingly. “None of your business.” Jun-Sang replied quickly. “Jun-Sang?” He glared at her mother, making her stop. “So, you didn’t move on, didn’t you?” Mr. Jang said coldly. “YES, I LOVE HER AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER. I DON’T CARE ABOUT THIS MARRIAGE.” Jun-Sang screamed out of frustration. “Jun-Sang.” His mother tried to hold his hand. “Go, before I lose my temper.” He warned them, causing them to back away. Mr. Jang left the house angrily and Mrs. Jang followed him.
“So, He loves her.” Soo-Yun smiled sadly and went back to her room once again with a broken heart.
Soo-Yun threw herself on the bed. She was sobbing massively. “Why am I feeling hurt? I don’t love him, right?” Soo-Yun sat on the bed and ran her hand through her hair. “WHY? WHY IS IT SO HARD.” she screamed in frustration. Jun-Sang let out a sigh before resting his back on the hair. He frowned as he heard a scream coming out of Soo-Yun’s room. He rushed to her room and knocked on the door softly. “Soo-Yun, are you okay?” Jun-Sang said calmly to make her feel better. “JUST GO AWAY. I DON’T WANT YOU HEAR RIGHT NOW.” Soo-Yun took her anger out on him, making Jun-Sang more worried about her. “Please open the door and let me in.” “NO” “Soo-Yun, please open the door or I will break it.” Soo-Yun panicked and her eyes landed on a sharp knife. “Soo-Yun, please.” He begged, but she was on her thoughts.“NO. I AM GOING TO MEET MY
"Sang-Woon?" Soo-Yun whispered under her breath. Sang-Woon smirked as his gaze shifted to Soo-Yun. Jun-Sang clenched his jaw and glanced at Soo-Yun, who was in shock. "It's okay. I am here with you." He whispered into her ear. Soo-Yun nodded and looked away from Sang-Woon. "Everyone, meet Moon Sang-Woon. He is the new partner of our company." Mr. Jang said while smiling slightly. Everyone stood up and bowed to him. Soo-Yun smiled at him and took her seat back. After an hour, as the meeting was over, everyone stepped out of the hall. Soo-Yun took her file and was about to go out, but stopped by Mr. Jang. "Soo-Yun, as you are handling this case, I want you three to talk about some serious matter. I need you to attend to something important. Hope you don't mind Mr. Moon." Sang-Woon shook his head and smiled. "Yes, you can go. I don't mind when I have Soo-Yun." Mr. Jang looked at him confusedly. "I mean, I don't mind at all." Mr. Jang nodded and went out.
“Leave me, Jun-Sang. It’s tickling.” She laughed harder when Jun-Sang didn’t stop tickling Haneul on her belly. She pushed him lightly as she was out of her breath. Jun-Sang pulled her closer and laid her head on chest. “I love you.” “I love you too.” they giggled into each other's arms. Haneul opened her eyes and chuckled sadly. She poured a drink on her glass and gulped a tear roll down her cheek and Haneul wiped it aggressively. Bartender glanced at her shockingly as her condition got worse. Her head fell on the bar counter, making the bartender panic. He gazed at her worriedly and took her phone from her side.Jun-Sang’s phone started ringing as he entered the house. He sighed and took his phone out of his pocket. Jun-Sang's eyes widened as he saw Haneul's name. He quickly answered the call, making Soo-Yun roll her eyes. She walked away as when Jun-Sang attended the call. &ld
Sang-Woon Held her hand as she was about to sit in the car. Soo-Yun tried to get out of her grip. “Leave me,” she said, struggling in Sang-Woon's grip. He pulled her close to him as she turned around. W-what are you doing?” Soo-Yun stuttered. Sang-Woon let out a sigh and stared deep into her eyes. “You don’t love me, right?” she frowned and her gaze turned dark. She didn’t utter a word and sarong at him blankly. “Answer me Soo-Yun.” Sang-Woon asked her again politely as his eyes softened, seeing her in such a stage where she was emotionless. She chuckled in pain and looked away. “Love? I am good for it and I don’t deserve to be loved.” She sadly moved herself away from him and hopped in the car. “Stay away from me. I am married now.” Soo-Yun drove away as she warned him. He looked down and let out a sigh. Haneul yawned while rubbing her eyes as she entered the living room. A small smile appeared on her lips after seeing Jun-Sang working on the laptop with a cute pout. She gi
Soo-Yun sat on her bed and heaved a deep breath. “Did I overreact?” She shook her head and threw herself on the bed. “Maybe I did. Argh, but he deserves it.” She felt her eyes getting heavy. After a few moments, she fell asleep. It’d been five or six hours since Soo-Yun was sleeping peacefully. Suddenly, she felt someone’s presence in her room. Soo-Yun sat up and rubbed her eyes before opening them. Her eyes frowned when she saw some makeup artist and designer with dresses. “You wake up Mrs. Jang. Let’s get fresh and after that you have to get ready for the party, Mr. Jang instructed us.” A lady said with red hair, causing Soo-Yun to widen her eyes. “Party?” she whispered, making the lady nod her head. The designer held Soo-Yun's hands and made her stand. After that, he dragged her into the restroom. “Let’s go ladies, we have a lot of work to do.” He clapped his hands, indicating them to follow him.Jun-Sang glanced at him through the mirror
Soo-Yun jumped a little to grasp her phone. She sighed as she gave up. "Okay, take it." She said angrily and left him alone, unsatisfied. "Why are you ignoring me, Soo-Yun?" Jun-Sang clenched his jaw and glared at Sang-Woon, who was coming towards him. Jun-Sang rolled his eyes and was about to go. "Well, well, look at you." Sang-Woon mocked him. "Not now." Jun-Sang gave him a warning with an icy gaze. "Why not? After all, you are having fun with two ladies these days." Sang-Woon sarcastically laughed, causing Jun-Sang to close his eyes in anger. "WHAT—" Jun-Sang stopped as he saw his father near him. He let out a pissed off sigh and left Sang-Woon. Sang-Woon chuckled and shook his head in satisfaction.Soo-Yun came out of the party to get some fresh air. Her eyes widened when she saw a girl pointed a gun at her. A gasp escaped out of her mouth when the girl hit the trigger of the gun. Soo-Yun closed her eyes, and suddenly a powerful
Soo-Yun narrowed her eyes and checked one more time. She didn’t want to make a mistake on it. After a while, she rested her back against the chair and let out a sigh. “I think I have to not rush into this. This is a sensitive and complicated case. There are so many people in this video, I can't doubt all of them.” She nodded at her own statement, understanding the facts about the situation. “I should ask for help. After all, I am a lawyer. It can be risky if I go there and investigate.” She heaved a deep breath and took her phone on the table. Soo-Yun dialled someone's number and placed the phone on her left ear. “Kim Min-Ji, I need your help.” They talked for a moment and hung up the call. Soo-Yun got up and walked to her bed. She fell asleep as she laid on the bed.The next morning, Soo-Yun took a last glance at her through the mirror and let out a deep sigh before heading out of the room.
“I want to reopen my dad’s case and also Mr. Kim’s son's case as well.” Soo-Yun demanded to a police officer, who was chewing bubble gum, causing her to be disgusted by his gaze, which is continuously landing on her bare legs. “Why?” He questioned, while leaning close to her. Soo-Yun gave him a warning with her dark gaze, but unfortunately it didn’t affect the man who was drunk and lost in another world. As he leaned his face close to hers, a sharp slap plastered on his left cheek and the sound echoed all over the station, making everyone turn their attention on them. Soo-Yun stood up and gazed into his eyes, not scared. At that moment, she knew how to handle a disgusting man when it comes to self defence. Her father taught her never ever in life let any guy take advantage of your situation. “HOW DARE YOU TO COME NEAR ME?” A sudden outburst of hers made the situation worse and the man angry even more. “You know
