"Of course he was. If he wasn't desperate, would he be willing to share the money equally with you?."

"No, not today. If I call him now, it would seem like I really want to do it. I'll call him tomorrow morning."

"I met someone on my way home." I said, remembering Melanie.
"Really?, Who?" She seemed interested in finding out who it was.
"Her name's Melanie. She gave me her card and asked me to call her." I handed it to her and she collected it.
