Chapter 17 : Another Blow

I opened my eyes and still felt a little blurry around the edges. F*ck. My head was throbbing and my wrists hurt from the rope burns. I flexed my arm and realized I was no longer restrained. I instantly sat up and looked around the room. I felt dizzy and light-headed, and my vision started to blacken with little spots.

I pressed my fingertips to my temples and tried to will the pain away. I was going to kill Ben whenever I got out of this. I didn't recognize anything. I felt nauseous and f*cking pissed. Everything in this room looked dirty and dusty as if he hadn't touched anything in here in years.

"What the f*ck?!" I hollered before I had the good sense to keep quiet. I ran my hands through my greasy hair and wanted to scream. I wasn't sure how close Ben was or if he was listening. I had to keep quiet, keep him from coming in here and knocking me unconscious again....
