As they walked through the woods, Azure couldn't help but admire how compassionate Francine was. She had accepted him and the boy without hesitation and had been nothing but kind to them. He had never met anyone like her before.

"I love how kind and caring you are," Azure finally mustered up the courage to express his feelings.

Francine smiled at him, her eyes shining with warmth. "I couldn't just leave him out there, hungry," she said. "He looked so lost and alone."

Azure felt a lump form in his throat at her words. This girl is so kind, just like her father, the Lycan King. They accepted him without judgment.

They continued walking through the woods, picking apples and enjoying each other's company. But as they walked, Azure couldn't help but feel the weight of his past weighing heavily on his shoulders.
