Chapter Fifty

Leila.

"Did you find anything?" Michael asks coming into the master bedroom that Maria and Jordan supposedly share.

"Yes, we found a couple of things that will mske some good cash," i say showing him the jewelry we had collected that was all in a plastic bag.

"Am really optimistic, we are going to get all the cash we need." I say smiling as i take out a vintage watch, "Jordan was given this watch by his dad, it's a family heirloom, but he never wears it so i doubt he will notice its missing at all." i say as i take it out of its box and drop it into the patch we were going to sell.

There is sudden movements, coming from outside, we all look at Maria who rushes to look from the windows, she opens a small part of the curtains to look outside, we all join her. Someone is at the main gate we can see head lights and he was trying to open the gate.

"Who else has keys to this house?" Michael asked what i was obviously dying to ask.

"No one," she answers back still looking out of the window.
