Chapter Thirty Nine

"Hey man, i need to talk to you," Jeremy says as he approaches me.

"I will go say hello to some of the guests, see you in a bit." Maria excuses herself as she pecks me on the cheek and leaves.

"So what do you want to talk about?" i ask Jeremy as i take two glasses of champagne from a passing waiter and hand him one.

"It's about Maria and your engagement Jordan ,"

"What about it?"

"I don't think you should propose to her tonight man."

"We are not having last night's conversation are we?"

"As your best friend i just think you are avoiding dealing with the real issues thats why you are rushing into this." Jeremy says

"This is my life Jeremy and am not projecting anything, the real issue here is you meddling in my business, don't you have anything better to do than question my every move, if you are indeed my best friend as you claik, you would support me not question me with your theories about processing trauma." i say angrily
