CHYNA
“OUCH!”
I hit Gian with my bare hands. I was shocked that I couldn’t tell even a word while Gian maneuvered the conversation. It was like my brain was flying like a kite. Just until the girls leave us, I finally took back my sanity.
“Wait…” He tried to stop me.
“What the hell was that?!” I yelled at him as I hit him anywhere my hands landed.
Gian finally caught my hands. He looked around. And when his eyes seen something, he guided me there.
“Damn you, stupid thing! Why would you say those things?!” I keep on yelling at him.
“You have a future in boxing. I felt my chest was beaten hard.”
He doesn’t sound like complaining. Instead, he seems amused. I give him a hard hit on the arm again.
“If you are putting an act, don't dare dragged me in there!” I snarled.
“Oh, that.” Gian fixed himself first before facing me. “I know those girls will invite me to some
Chyna I was so bored in my hotel room here in Earth Cove. The management said that maybe I could move into my new unit anytime tomorrow. I was so excited that I wanted to pull the time. I don’t know what else to buy for my condo unit. I saw it already. It was a huge unit and expensively decorated. They were still doing some finishing. I could imagine how beautiful the place would be. Yet, I still felt that the place was empty. Something was missing. Maybe I could figure it out if I already occupied the unit. That is why I couldn’t wait to move in. My phone beeps. ‘Hi!’ A message from an unknown number popped into my text inbox. I knotted who it must be? I ignore the message, locked the phone, and throw it above the bed. I walked near the balcony. My room was facing the ocean. Maybe, I should breathe some fresh air to clear my head and this boredom. The message alert tone beeps again. And again. And again.
Chyna “You’ll surely love it.” “Give me a sec.” “I can wait for you until forever.” He jokingly answered. “Dumbass!” I hissed and ended the call. I hurriedly look for something to wear. I even checked if I looked good even without make-up. But I was not satisfied, so I put a light powder on my face. I even put some lipstick and light blush on. I suddenly got stunned and checked on myself. Am I dolling myself for that guy? Damn it! I wiped away my make-up and just rolled up my hair in a messy bun. I didn’t change my oversized t-shirt and short shorts. I just tucked the front of the t-shirt on my shorts and let the sides and back hang loosely. “You looked great.” I don’t know if Gian was sarcastic or he meant it. He was looking at me like he was really pleased with this outfit. “Don’t start, Gian. I know I am a bea
CHYNA I was about to plop again when I heard my doorbell rang. Who must it be? Without enthusiasm, I stood up and opened the stupid door without even checking the CCTV monitor. And I was surprised to see who is the uninvited guest. “What do you want?” I grumpily asked. “Is that how you greet your neighbour who visited you?” Gian grinned. “You are an uninvited guest so, it’s fair to greet you that way.” I bluntly said. “So, what are you doing here? And where are you going to deliver my furniture?” “Take it easy. Why don’t you invite me for a coffee, at least?” “I told you, already. You are not invited.” I lazily said. “Aren’t you bored? Don’t you want a company?” “This boredom is your fault.” “Huh? Why it was my fault?” “I can’t do anything in this kind of weather.” “So, you blame me for the change of weather?” Gian laughed.
CHYNA “Hey, Gian. What are you up with this? Is it necessary for you to track him down when he didn’t do anything to you!” “He might not harm me, but how about you?” He said with gritted teeth. I got confused. “What are you talking about?” “The artist was fantasizing you, damn it!” He yelled at me that I flinched in surprise. “I could even tell that he had a lot of this with him. He might have painted you naked.” “What the hell?!” I got flustered. Why would he say that? Why the hell would he make such an assumption? That’s not fair! “I could tell by the look of the painting. I could tell how the painter's mind works upon seeing his painting.” He said in a dangerous voice. Just by seeing his anger right now, I could tell he must be telling the truth. “What are you thinking letting the man paints you? Don’t you know his background? All his works were about nudity!”
CHYNA I looked at my reflection across the mirror. I put on a simple summer dress that I picked from Eva’s boutique. It was still early in the morning, but I am here in the one-stop-shop to squander some penny. I was so bored as I woke up, so I decided to do some shopping spree. Again. And also to distract from everything that I should be thinking. I haven’t got any update about Gregory Sawyer, but I believe Gian was handling it already. He was always around doing the same thing, appearing before my face and annoyed the hell out of me if ever he got the chance. Darn! It's been a week, and I am doing the same thing. Shopping, eating, strolling, swimming, and dealing with the annoying handsome billionaire named Gian. Lenox wasn’t around, and Josh couldn’t tell when strictly would he come back. Luckily, most of the resident members of Costa Galaxia were friendly. I was entertained with their bantering and all that.
CHYNA “Hi!” He greeted me as if he hadn’t done anything wrong. “Why so beautiful? When did you plan to look ugly? A hard hit on his chest is what I gave Gian as an answer. I had to do that, so, to remind myself that I am annoyed by him. Because right this moment, it is not irritation that I felt but admiration. “Ouch!” he complained. As time goes by, he looks more gorgeous. And my mind could not think straight anymore. “What sweet greetings you have here? You made it too obvious that you love me so much.” I stared at him wide-open. “What are you talking about?” I leered at Gian. He seems to have a loose screw in his head. How did he manage to smile even if I struck him? “And would you mind explaining what's news are you leaking around?” I don’t mind if he was a billionaire or he fucking owns the universe! He was just so annoying! “What news?” Gian asked, cl
CHYNA “Yeah…” Gian silently answered. I could see that his face turned grim for a sudden moment but smiled afterwards. “I’m sorry, okay?” Now, I was not sure if I really saw that sudden moment because he was now smiling so handsomely. And it was frustrating that I couldn’t brace myself from getting affected. In my deep annoyance, I slammed the shopping bags towards Gian’s chest. “There. Bring that to the laundry house, and we are good then. That would serve as your punishment, though.” I couldn’t find a way to justify these feelings, so I must make a distraction for myself. “That’s how it goes. You keep on maltreating me.” “Are you complaining?” He smiled as he scratched his nape. “I mean, I am going to the laundry house now.” And Gian cheekily salutes at me. I just couldn’t help but smile towards this jerk. That’s my biggest problem now. Even though G
Gian “Chyna rides the golf car going to Saturn Cove.” Josh greeted me that way the moment I entered the command room of the security department. Well, he must know me better. He already knew what I am up with, just upon entering this area. I am here to ask them to track Chyna. She wasn’t there where I left her. And that was not new to me. It was her hobby to make my life hard in finding her. Instead of leaving the area, I still decided to continue walking inside. Josh raised his eyebrows when he turned to me. “What are you still doing here. I already told you. Chyna was there in the Saturn Cove.” I grinned. “What did you think of me, that I just appear here to ask you to track Chyna?” “Well. Am I wrong to think about you that way?” Josh scowled at me. “You guys think that the security department was just like a lost and found booth.” His words were full of resentment. I just laughed at Josh
