Chapter 9-The unknown number

I was so bored in my hotel room here in Earth Cove. The management said that maybe I could move into my new unit anytime tomorrow. I was so excited that I wanted to pull the time. I don’t know what else to buy for my condo unit. I saw it already. It was a huge unit and expensively decorated. They were still doing some finishing. I could imagine how beautiful the place would be. Yet, I still felt that the place was empty. Something was missing. Maybe I could figure it out if I already occupied the unit. That is why I couldn’t wait to move in.

My phone beeps.

 ‘Hi!’

A message from an unknown number popped into my text inbox. I knotted who it must be? I ignore the message, locked the phone, and throw it above the bed. I walked near the balcony. My room was facing the ocean.  Maybe, I should breathe some fresh air to clear my head and this boredom.

The message alert tone beeps again. And again. And again.<
