The car ride was silent all the way home.

Elias had walked a good kilometer to find a mechanic before I woke up.

Turns out the man who ran us over didn't call the police and left us for dead.

My hand traveled to the mark on my neck, shame on my face from the foggy memories of last night's events.

This wasn't what I wanted; Jon hasn't even been dead for three years and I'm already jumping into bed with another man that I'm not even in a relationship with.

All I just needed to do now was get into a hot shower and sleep till dusk because right now, I was tired.

"Sora I..." Elias tried to explain but I cut him off.

"I rather not talk about it Elias. Just keep driving." I said as I hugged myself, repositioning my body away from Elias and looking outside the window.

"You know we're still going to have to talk about it. We can't keep running away from the matter or pre
