Chapter 37

EMILIA POV

“If ever you seek the Council of Elders from Fangsbane Pack,” an instructor once told us in the pack school when we were younger, “all you have to do is go north-east.”

We had been taught to learn of everything we would encounter and were to be prepared for if we ever decided to go to the Council of Elders for help and if we were in danger.

Now, I was heading in their direction without preparation and the sparse memories of what I had been taught by the instructor.

“Wisteria path, wisteria path,” I mumbled to myself, looking around to search for a path filled with wisteria trees as we had been informed that there would be. I kept stalking forward, stopping once in a while to catch my breath and whenever I got pain in my stomach.

It suddenly felt like my stomach had gotten heavier, but I was sure that it was that way because I was exhausted.
