FINDING THE CULPRIT

“Dear Princess, I'm glad to see you in person.” Luci greets the princess. Princess Chandra smiled at this then spoke.

“It's also nice to meet you. Let's sit down, ” Princess Chandra also greeted and then asked the woman in front of her to sit down. They sat down in a chair at the opposite table.

“Now, speak up. What do you know about what happened last night here in our town?”  the Princess asked the woman seriously.

“By the way, I am Lady Luci, Dear Princess. I even came from another town. It just so happened that we were here last night with my assistant to buy the product and because it got dark, so we didn’t go home right away,” Lady Luci began.

"Do you mean you spent the night here?” Princess's correction to Lady Luci.

“Right, Dear Princess. And I was looking for my assistant because it takes him too long to return to our room last night, so I went out and looked for him. We met and he said in a low voice that we need to quiet and then we hid in a large container of wine, where they did not try to go,” Lady Luci said again then looked at her assistant. The assistant nodded.

“By the way, Woben is my personal helper that he is with me also to come here to your town,” Lady Luci said again, introducing her assistant to the princess. The Princess nodded her head to Lady Luci's assistant Woben.

“I went out then to get some air. I left Lady Luci in our room where I was staying when I saw from my vantage point people wearing black robes. Even their faces were covered with black cloth. They are carrying sharp swords. that's what they used to kill people when they entered homes, even the store that was also owned by the people of the town.” The narration of Woben.

Princess Chandra thought deeply before speaking again.

“According to what you saw. Aren’t these evil pirates the bandits who steal people's property and wealth?” the princess asked again because of her hesitation.

“I think, Dear Princess that they are not pirates. The pirates don't cover their faces and openly steal,” Woben replied immediately.

“Woben is right, Dear Princess. They may be bandits but not pirates,” Lady Luci replied.

“But, I saw them board a big ship. They probably own it,”  Woben said again with astonishment.

“They can also disguise themselves as non-pirates. As far as I know, they are the only ones who will do this thing and that is thieving. All they want is stealing and that's the work of pirates that sail to the islands. They want to get the treasure and kill innocent people” Princess Chandra clenched her fist. She is not mistaken in assuming those culprits. She was sure that it was a pirate robber who was lucky to come down to their town.

Lady Luci and Woben looked at each other and then nodded to the princess. That just means they agreed with what the princess suspected.

They immediately said goodbye to each other after the conversation between Princess Chandra and Lady Luci with her assistant Woben. The Princess decides to return to their palace. She was also accompanied by her soldiers and servants.

When the princess arrived at the palace, she immediately went to her royal father. The Princess was still followed by her personal servant Min. The two soldiers were behind them.

"The Princess is here!" An announcement by a Chief Speaker at the gate of the hall.

King Edric, on the other hand, looked straight ahead to see his daughter enter. So in just a few seconds, Princess Chandra entered the place of her royal father.

"Your Majesty," the Princess greeted as she bowed her head. As a courtesy.

"Your Majesty," greeted the slave, Min. She also bowed forward to pay homage to the king.

King Edric stood up and approached his daughter the princess. The king smiled. The king looked around before he began to speak.

“Princess Chandra, why did you leave? You know that I do not allow you to come out in the palace. I don't want anything bad to happen to my dear princess. ”

“Father, nothing bad will happen to me. I am a full-fledged and heroic woman trained in the fighting army. And as learning in that style I have to deal with whatever is worth a struggle. I can't just hide like this, father. So I decided to take the lead in finding the culprit, the perpetrator of the crime in our town,” the princess told her royal father. The king's eyes widened. Surprised at the brave words of his daughter princess.

"But my daughter, your safety is still my concern," King Edric replied.

“Father, how can I learn that if you are always worried about me? I can't do anything, my father. I also need to defend myself and not base being a woman or a princess just so I don’t act. The man doesn’t have an ability so as a sufficiently fully rigid I will use what I have learned in fighting. I also need to defend our kingdom from anyone who attempts to claim it. Do you understand me, my father king? ” Long litany of the princess to her royal father. Not that he had nothing to do with his daughter, but that he was just afraid of the possible harm to his only daughter.

The king was stunned by what his daughter, the princess, said. It thought first before speaking again.

"In that case, I agree."

The princess was surprised at the king's immediate decision. She still can't believe it, but she hopes so too.

“You have really matured. You are really growing up and you are no longer the innocent princess I see just walking around inside the palace,” the king said fondly to his beloved princess.

“Father, thank you very much for your authorization. I was glad, ”the princess replied with pleasure in her voice. "You can count on me, father, to do everything I can."

“Enough. I have a lot of faith in you, Princess Chandra.” King Edric tapped the princess on his shoulder as a sign of his trust in his daughter.

"I will not disappoint you, my father." The princess bowed to her father again.

Her father king gave her a nod.
