"Have you thinked about what you will do after a divorce?" Jonas asked, showing concern.

Jessica let out a breath. “I want to sell this house. It’s the one home we got and I don’t wish to be stuck in hurtful memories”

Jonas stopped for a second then said “But why Jessica? Where will you stay when your father is out of hospital?”

“Well, I don’t want to owe a person anything, even you. I want to pay back all what you’ve done for my father” Jessica said feeling the weight in her heart come back. “I feel bad especially since I can’t give nothing in return.”

Jonas grinned softly. “Jessica I did it cuz I care. You don’t have to feel in debt. We all need aid at times.”

“But I wish to stand on my own two feet,” Jessica said looking at Jonas seriously. “I don’t want to depend on others.”

“And that's a nice way of thinking,” Jonas said. “But there is nothing bad about taking help from buddies. We all need one another”
