To have been in Silas’ arms for such a short while had me on edge. I got him back only to have to give him up in order to save the world. That left me feeling rather grumpy. You put a grumpy and pissed off daughter next to her grieving and just as pissed off powerful father, and you have a team not to be messed with.

“I really feel sorry for anyone who has to face your wrath up there,” Iris said, referring to Lexius.

“They let her get killed. We’ve had enough of this! Our family has suffered enough at the hands of those people,” my dad growled.

“Don’t worry sis, we’re going to kick their asses subtly,” I winked. She looked shocked.

“Sis?” she whispered.

“Well yeah! My dad loves you as though you’re his daughter and since he created you, you’re technically my sister,” I smiled, throwing my arm around her shoulder. My father smiled, realizing the truth behind my words.

“My baby girls,” he said proudly.

“Second time in my life,” Iris frowned as she looked at her fingers.

“What?”
