Ch 106 - We Have A Situation

“I was kept a secret all this time until mom died,” she sobbed.

“Did she know?” I asked. She shook her head.

“She passed out when she gave birth to us. They let her send you away, and I was kept hidden from everyone,” she croaked. I couldn’t help but hug her then.

“What’s your name?” I whispered.

“Angelica,” she smiled.

“That’s cool,” I giggled.

“I know! I’ve wanted to meet you since I found out about you just a month ago,” she said sadly.

“I don’t understand though. Who kept you all this time?” I asked.

“The sisters of Time and Fate. All they ever told me was that they were keeping me for a great destiny, but they disappeared. I’ve been a lost soul since. I’ve avoided our grandfather because I’m not stupid enough to not know that he doesn’t like you much because of our dad. Oh goodness! Our dad! How is he? Is he a nice man?” she asked excitedly. Before I could reply, the man in question appeared before us.

“Angelina, we have to go now,” he said. I made sure that Angelica’s b
