Chapter Fifteen•

Kylie  took one more look at the unfinished design she was sewing when her phone rang. It was an unknown number and she picked up after the third ring.

"Hello." she said.

"Kylie dear," a worried voice responded.

"Yes,that's me. Please who's on the line if I may ask?" she asked as she placed her hand on the mannequin.

"It's Lucinda. Your mother gave me your contact." she said and Kylie felt her something sink down her stomach.

"Oh,Mrs Michaelson. I'm sorry if I sounded rude in any way,"

"No,no,no,you weren't my dear." she said.

A relief washed over her. She definitely didn't know how was to speak to her soon mother in law. "Is there any problem?" Kylie asked.

"I think there is. I've not heard from Leo for two days now and I'm worried. He's not been seen at his company or his house or even here." she said anxiously.

"Calm down Mrs Michaelson,I'm sure he's fine." Kylie tried to soothe her.

"You don't understand my dear. I know
