I slowly opened my eyes; the pain in my body was still overwhelming. Everything was fuzzy, making me blink a few times before my vision started to come back. Looking around, I found myself in a bedroom I didn't know panic started to set in. The room was dimly lit, and the soft glow of a lamp illuminated the space. I tried to sit up, but pain hit my body like a shock of electricity, making me look out and groan in pain. Every inch of my body screamed at me in pain.

Brax appeared at my side instantly, his face filled with concern. "Hey, take it easy," he said gently, placing a hand on my shoulder to steady me.
