Mag-log inSTRAW BAG ON BEACH SAND
Putting her hat back on, she picked her cappuccino and dropped a dollar note on the table. She arrived in Florida two days ago and because of her never ending curiosity, she'd already seen almost half of the city and now has hundreds of pictures in her camera. The trip was going to last for just three days and she has already taken every picture she needed. Photography was just an hobby but eversince she got her camera, she started making money out of it. Kimberlee took off her clothes to expose her dark green bikini as soon as her toes touched the warm sand of the beach. Looking around, she studied the children playing on the beach and their parents that watched them play. She wished she could give her kids every good thing in life, like the luxury they deserved and blissful memories. She wants to bring them to the beach and play with them too. Her eyes drifted to the pool of ladies in the water, drooling over a guy who was probably asleep on his chair with a beach umbrella over him. Rolling her eyes at the stupidity and utter disappointment, she spread her little mat on the sand close to the water and applied sunscreen to her lightly freckled body. Kim took a book out of her straw handbag and happily laid on the mat with her sunglasses over her eyes. There was no way she was gonna come over to California and not enjoy the beach, no matter how broke she was. Kim just flipped the second page when a shadow slowly fell on her. “Hey.” He had his usual smile on. Not only did she know that body, the voice reverberated in the deep memory of her soul. Kim loudly shut the book and quickly sat up. “Santos!” “It's you, again,” He maintained his smile. “I knew I was right.” “Are you following me?” She angrily jumped to her feet. “Are you for real? This is getting annoying now.” He had a perplexed look on. “What are you talking about? I believe I was here first because I've been on the chair for hours” He pointed at the chair she saw the hot guy earlier. “Well,” She didn't know what to say. “If anything, I think you're the one following me. Why? You can't seem to stay away from me?” He seductively smiled. “Of course not.” She frowned. “And stop doing that!” “What am I doing?” “That smile…stop it! D.. don't smile at me..like that.” She stammered. “Why?” He moved closer. “Do you fancy me?” “No!” She quickly picked up her mat and folded it. “Stop talking rubbish.” And why does he sometimes talk so weirdly? ‘Fancy him?’ “What are you doing? Where are you going?” He asked. “Away from you..” She started dressing up. “Why?” “You're bad news. I refuse.” “What exactly are you refusing?” “This thing that you're trying to do, no, nope! It's not gonna work.” She picked a clip from her bag to tie up her hair. “I like you with your hair up.” His voice deepened and she could feel the tension building up between her legs. “You're doing it again.” Kimberlee shook her head and walked past him but he followed. “I find you really attractive and you do too, don't deny it.” He walked with her. “That's not true.” “The fact that you are completely into me or the part that you keep denying it?” He asked. “You are enjoying this.” She sighed and stopped. “Listen, I don't want anything to do with you. Please for the last time, leave me the hell alone!” She turned away from him and started walking away. “And don't follow me.” “Wait,” He softly held her arm to stop her. “Look, I really want to know you. Just one date, just one date is all I ask for and you can decide if you wanna see me again or not, c’mon.” Kimberlee hesitated. Just one date. “Fine. I'll text you my address, pick me up for lunch.” She said. “Lunch? C'mon, make it dinner.” He made a sad face. “Take it or leave it.” She firmly said and waited for his decision. “Dinner, no alcohol I promise.” He insisted. Kim rolled her eyes again. “Seven.” She punched in her contact in his phone and walked away. Santos loudly exhaled as he watched her. He has never gone to this extent just to bed any woman. Why was it different with her? And why the hell was he doing all these? For a night full of hot sex. A smirk fell on his face. All his efforts will pay off once he completely demoralise her being and watch her break under him. Kimberlee looked at herself in the mirror. She wore the only dress Zita snuck into her bag and presently, she was glad her friend did. It was a tight brown short dress with an open back and straps that gave her back a sexy look. ‘I like you with your hair up’ His voice rang in her head and she picked more pins to keep her hair in a neat bun on the top of her head. Kim applied lipgloss and looked at herself in the mirror again with a small purse in hand. Why is she putting too much effort in her looks anyway? It's not going to be more than one date. She is going on date! She sat on the small bed in the hotel and stared at her phone. ‘Breathe, Kim, breathe’ She sighed. She didn't even tell her friends about the date. Well, it's better that way. She'll just fill them in when she goes back to Manhattan. She'd gone on dates before, maybe two or three but they all ended in a disaster. One from which she had her first relationship which ended more badly compared to her other two dates. That was when she decided relationships weren't for her because she wasn't psychologically ready for any of that trauma anymore and coupled with the fact that she had a lot of responsibilities and can't afford to let her guard down. “You look absolutely gorgeous.” He took her left hand and placed a kiss on it. “This is so unnecessary.” She said when he opened the car door for her but entered anyways. “I think I am safe to say you don't have gentlemen in your life?” He briefly looked at her and ignited the car. “I don't blame you, you need to be treated like this, more often.” She didn't even want to remember all the men that have been in her life. She has no interest in any one that would like to be in her life to the point that people around her thought she was a lesbian. Some still do. Kim recognised a very famous suite when he stopped his car in front of it and gave the key of his car to be taken away. “What happened to good old fashion restaurant?” She asked as he lead her in. “Too corny for me.” He simply said. “And yet, bringing a strange woman into a very expensive suite obviously to impress doesn't sound so cliché?” She scoffed. Santos pressed the elevator button and selected the last button. They are going to the roof? “Well, it's all about perspective. Although, are you impressed?” He asked with a cheeky smile. “I'd be glad if it worked, just saying.” Kim hardly stopped herself from rolling her eyes but her jaw dropped when they walked to the roof and she saw the beautiful set-up with candles that lit up the place and red roses that added the romantic touch. “There it is.” He draw out a chair for her. “Impressed? Yes. Speechless?" " It's..nice.” She conceded with a nod. Why would anyone do this for her, just to impress her? " I'm glad you like it.” He gave her a white rose and sat opposite her. " I decorated it myself.” " Really?!” She gasped. " No, not at all. I hired people.” He laughed but she threw the rose at him. “Stupid." She smiled a little. “Because I want us to be alone, I asked my staff to leave us alone so, I'm at your service today.” He picked the wine bottle and poured her some. " Like I promised, no alcohol.” " Thanks." She sipped a little and placed it back on the round decorated table. “Kimberlee, you can call me Kimberlee." She said. Santos watched as the candlelight highlighted her lovely heart shaped face in the darkness. He studied her every movement even with her being unaware of it. Does she really think he was interested in knowing anything about her? He already knew enough, which was her name. He always knew. Men of his calibre always get what they want. One way, or the other. And tonight, without any alcohol or persuasion, she will willingly beg him to fuck her so hard she will forget her own name.CHOCOLATE AND CHOICES Kim sat alone on a bench, her eyes fixed on the fountain in the courtyard. She can't go to her friends and kids. She can't pour out her problems on them whenever she has one. They also have a life. "I'm so sorry, baby," her palm cupped her belly, her voice barely audible. "I wish I could give you a better life. A life where you don't have to deal with all the drama and stress of being a royal." Tears welled up in her eyes. She felt a pang of sadness, wishing she could feel her baby's movements, her kicks, her gentle stirrings. But it was still too early, and all she could do was talk to the tiny life growing inside her. How can Santos give her such a beautiful thing and at the same time give her a hard life? The few weeks she'd spent in the palace felt like ages in hell. How is she supposed to live the rest of her life in this suffocating place? Before she could get lost in her thoughts, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching. She turned to
RESPECT NOR REMORSE? Kim stormed into her room, the anger and frustration of the press conference still boiling deep inside her. She slammed the door shut behind her, the sound echoing through the palace corridors. Tears began to well up in her eyes as she felt the weight of the royal family's disdain bearing down on her. She walked over to the window, staring out at the perfectly manicured gardens below. As she stood there, the tears began to fall, streaming down her face as she let out a sob. She felt so alone, so unsupported. Santos' silence during the press conference had cut her deep. She had expected him to stand up for her, to defend her against Stefania’s barbed comments. But he had done nothing. The pain and anger swirled inside her, making her feel like she was going to explode. She wiped them away angrily, but they kept coming. Stefania set everything up. She hired that stupid reporter to humiliate her. It was so obvious. She was so tired of being str
BLOND BITCHY BARBIE The press conference was already intense, the air thick with anticipation after the announcement of the wedding and coronation. The room was packed with reporters, all desperate for a shot at the royal family. Kimberlee's hands were clenched in her lap, her eyes fixed on the queen as she fielded question after question. When will this be over? She can't wait to get out of here. She had no idea how to act. And thank heavens she doesn't have to answer any question. Berenice and Santos were doing a pretty good job while the rest of the royal family just sat perfectly with smiles. But then, a reporter suddenly asked, "Kimberlee, can you tell us about your background? Are you from a rich family or royalty?" What? She tried no to look at Santos. She thought she didn't have to answer any question? She looked up, millions of cameras flashing it her, and not a single word. Sindy, who was seated on the other side of Santos, couldn't resist chiming in. "I th
PRETTY PETTYThe doors to the royal dinning hall open, and a woman dressed in a stunning gown walked in.The gown was a masterpiece of silk and satin, with intricate embroidery and delicate beading that sparkled in the light. The woman's long, blonde hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall with a tiara in it, and her bright blue eyes sparkled with warmth and intelligence. She's a princess. As she entered the hall, all eyes turned to her, and Kim felt a pang of curiosity. Who was this woman, and why was everyone staring at her? Kim looked around, trying to gauge the reactions of the others, and saw that they all seemed to know her. They were smiling and nodding in her direction, their faces filled with warmth and affection. The woman's eyes scanned the room, searching for nothing in particular with a smile on her face.Kim leaned in to ask him a question, but before he could answer, Sebastian stood up, his face lighting up with excitement."Alex!" He exclaimed, striding toward
TIARAS AND DRESSESKim stood before the mirror, her maids bustling around her as they carefully dressed her in a stunning pale yellow gown. The dress was a delicate confection of silk and lace, its intricate patterns and beading catching the light as she moved. The maids worked with precision, fastening tiny buttons and adjusting the fit of the gown to perfection. Her hair was styled in loose, flowing waves, and her makeup was applied with a subtle hand. Her eyes sparkled like diamonds in the mirror, and her lips were painted a soft, rosy hue. What is so special about this dinner?"Your Highness, you look absolutely breathtaking," One of the maids said, an indication that she was ready.Kim smiled, feeling a sense of nervous excitement. Finally, Kim was helped into her shoes. She looked down at herself, smoothing out her dress, and gazed at herself in the mirror. She looked different, but beautiful. And strangely, she was getting used to these princess dresses.Too heavy and to
LETTERS AND GLASSES Kimberlee was enjoying a peaceful sleep, her soft breathing a testament to her relaxed state. But her sleep was short-lived, as her maid gently tapped her, a letter clutched in her hand.“Forgive me, Your Highness," Rhoda said, with a little bow. "This just arrived for you."Kim rubbed the sleep from her eyes, her mind still foggy from the amazing sleep. She lazily took the letter from the maid and scanned it quickly, her eyes widening in shock as she read the contents. The letter was from the queen, and it announced that a conference would be held to introduce her to the world as the future queen of Greece and announce her wedding to the world. Kim's heart sank as she read the words, her mind racing with panic. She had no idea what to do, no idea how to prepare for something like this. Why didn't Santos inform her before now?She jumped out of bed and rushed to Santos’ room, but he wasn't there. Of course he wasn't around. He is never around in the morning o
