Walking back into the house after having such a friendly conversation with her dad, Marie was on cloud nine knowing that she had grown up and earned her father’s trust. Otherwise, there was no possible reason for him to tell her all the things which he did. As the girl gang started walking after Delilah, Jean got in between Marie and Rebecca. She did that on purpose so that Marie’s sister did not feel left out had Jean been busy walking on the other side and talking only to Marie.
