WHAT AWAITS
A lot of chaos was created with the unexpected cut in power supply. It wasn’t that late at night, but the boys and girls were still worried about going home on time. Some of them would have their parents come to pick them up, while on the other hand, some of them had clubbed in with their friends to reach here, and their parents would be stressed had they not reached home at the time which they had mentioned.
Marie was one such kid who had clubbed in with Jean, her friend, and she started to panic a lot. Her parents were strict and narrow-minded; in no way on planet Earth would they even listen to the explanation of why she was returning late. Morning rituals were just like any other day that started with the morning coffee and then freshening up, followed by breakfast while the news channel that played each day on television was on.
