Chapter 29

For the next few days, I didn’t bother going out of the house. I was scared of going outside, and the fact that I might bump into Calvin out of nowhere.

“Will you be going out today?” He asked.

I immediately shook my head in response. “No, I’ll just stay at home.” I replied before laying back again in bed.

These days I’ve been experiencing way more painful backaches because of the pregnancy hormones.

“Do you plan on just staying at home for the rest of your pregnancy?” Tobi asked as he wore his office coat.

I nodded willingly.

Tobi then pulled me out of the bed, I ended up on his chest. Then there it was again, the beating feeling of my heart.

“Get dressed.” He said. “I’ll bring you with me to the office today.” Tobi said before pushing me inside the walk-in closet.

Even though I didn’t want to come with him, I had no choice but to obey him. He won’t stop bugging me until I say ‘yes’ to his plans.
