I'm meetin' my buddies out on the lake,
We're headin' out to that special place we love...that just a few folks know.
I looked up, trying to figure out who was singing, but heard nothing. Everyone else was silent as we cruised out farther into the lake, with the exception of Sarah complaining.
Then the singing started again
Come on in the water's fine, just idle on over and toss us a line--
"Sebastian, if you don't shut the hell up with that redneck singing I swear!" Isabella yelled. Sebastian, who was steering in the back of the canoe behind Lucas was cracking up, which made majority of the canoe start laughing along with him. William, who wa
After I showered, I sat on my bed and opened my laptop, but just stared at the screen blankly. Surprisingly, today was a total success. Despite the lake accident, Mr. Muller was extremely entertained watching us out on the water, and said that Sebastian would be a great addition to Harrison inc. Thank God. I logged into my Yahoo account and emailed Garret about today's endeavor, leaving out the part about Billy Mane and the capsized canoe. Within minutes, he replied back stating that he was ecstatic about the success. I smiled to myself at his comment. Garret was seeing me as more of a publicist, but a life changer of sorts. As I began typing my reply to Garret I felt my phone vibrating on my bed. I picked it up and noticed that it was Beth. When I answered it, I had no chance to greet my best friend as she was screaming excitedly.
"Jesus this isn't happening..." Sebastian rested his head in between his legs. The stress in his voice was overwhelming, but unfortunately I couldn't concentrate on his emotions at the moment. Right now I had to focus on getting this cleaned up.Apparently, Maria Lombardi came out with a statement about her "pregnancy" about two days ago on Sunday. Since we were at the lake all day I didn't get notified about anything going on, and Darcy, being busy with Garret's departure didn't get the news until this morning."What else can you tell me about the situation Darcy, you have to give me more." Darcy was mumbling to herself as she typed on the computer. We turned another corner that led to the freeway entrance. Sebastian, having a nervous break down at the moment, didn't flinch at the sudden jolt.
"So how are we going to fix this, Leslie?" Sarah asked as her, Lucas and I sat in the library. William and Elizabeth wanted to sit in to see how everything was going to play out, but Fiona made them sit out, claiming that "Press work" was already stressful as it was without them. After arriving to the Manor after the paparazzi incident, Sebastian's face was plastered on every gossip website you could think of. Not only this, but Access Hollywood had played the scandalous video of Sebastian spitting in the camera mans face. Back, to back, to back. It was nation wide, now. We were doing so well, and he had to go and mess everything up. Even if he apologized to me it wouldn't be enough. A "soon to be" father spitting in a mans face and calling him a douche bag is not a favorable action towards the public.I paced back and forth in the libr
I looked at the green substance, then at Sebastian's smiling face, then at the weed again. I couldn't believe he had pot stashed in his room...on the contrary, I could actually believe it, but I couldn't believe he had it while he was supposed to be running away from that stuff. I was disappointed that this was all for not, that all of the charity work I had planned for him would consist of him running to the bathroom in the middle of it to smoke a blunt half the time. "Sebastian, I am so disappointed in you!" He laughed at my shocked reaction "What? I haven't smoked it since...maybe last month. Before I came here I went upstairs to get a sweater and, you know I found it. I thought it would be put to a great use considering what happened. You truly need to take a smoke." My eyes wid
"I swear something smells awfully funny..." Fiona said as we walked into the manor. Sebastian's face was red from holding in his laughter, and I, being more dazed than him, went into a fit of minor paranoia. Seriously, I felt like we were going to go to jail any second, or an asteroid was going to crash into the manor or something. Either way, I was more afraid than usual. I kept my composure in front of Fiona, but I knew as soon as I was able to go to my room I would check under my bed for bombs or spiders. God forbid it be spiders. Fiona had a phone call waiting for her, so she left us in the waiting room. As we made our way upstairs, I stopped midway and looked at Sebastian. "What's wrong?" He asked, with a sly smile. "Di-did y
Maybe he gave someone else a Teddy bear, maybe it isn't me. It cant be me, it cant! These thoughts raced through my mind as I frantically looked through my contact list on my phone. Who the hell was I trying to call, though? The only person I could possibly tell this all to was Beth, considering Paul is probably with his boyfriend at the moment. L.A. is two hours behind Tennessee, so odds are she's sleep right now. Fuck it, this is crucial. I pressed the call button and waited, my legs shaking uncontrollably. I thought this was all some sick joke of some sort. There was no way, that a Harris-no,twoHarrison brothers could be attracted to me. It was impossible. Physically impossible. They could literally have any girl they wanted on this earth, but...they
____ That day, I decided to walk out into the Rose Garden to handle some business regarding Sebastian's baby scandal, as well as the Keplin Pre school volunteer work he had set up for next week. Garret called, a bit furious at Sebastian. I told him that everything was under control when in reality I didn't know how everything would play out with Norman and Maria on Friday. Still, Garret trusted me enough to let me handle it without expressing the entirety of his worry. Lucas and Sarah asked if I needed any help with anything, and tried to sit down with their laptops, but I shook it off and told them I had it under control. I knew the only reason Sarah wanted to join me was because of her outburst yesterday. Guilt wasn't going to work on me; I already knew that her apology was
The rest of the week consisted of hate mail from Maria and representatives of Maria, claiming that she will sue me for every penny I have. I've been through this many times, Maria. You're going to have to try harder than that. I decided to start asking for my breakfast, lunch and dinner up in my room. Fiona asked why and I just told her that I have been more busy than before, when in reality I wanted to avoid the Harrison brothers. They were growing more and more competitive towards each other. Whether it be opening doors to pulling out chairs. It was extremely flattering to say the least but embarrassing. Everyone noticed the little act they were playing, and I'm surprised none of them have caught on. Exactly a week after the meeting with Norman and Maria on the tenth of February,
